P&G-Egypts first factory, the Cairo Plant, covers an area of 126,000 sqm and boasts the largest detergents blowing tower in
the Middle-East and Africa. The second factory, the newly established October VI Plant, is a state-of-the-art production facility
for baby diapers products. Covering more than 250,000 sqm - twice as big as the Cairo Plant - October VI Plant represents
alone fresh investments of hundreds of million US Dollars projected till 2012.
Upon its completion, October VI Plant is expected to be among the Companys three biggest diapers plants globally. The new
plant represents the first step towards P&G-Egypts ambitious plan to become the most important sourcing hub in the Middle-
East, Africa and Eastern Europe, with an export network spanning across more than 37 countries.
The company employs close to 1500 skilled men and women. An additional 10,000 Egyptians are employed in businesses and
services supporting P&G business, such as supplies, logistics, advertising and consultancy services.

Internship Title: Engineering Summer Internship
The internship is offered to top caliber students in any engineering related major. Our engineers are responsible for developing
manufacturing process, engineering technologies for our world-class consumer products and for managing the company's multi-
million dollar capital Investments. As an Intern, you'll find out what suits and interests you, and you'll improve your career
prospects.
You'll be working on your own project, typically in a multi-functional team that includes senior managers; have a dedicated
'sponsor'; put your technical skills to work in a challenging environment; improve your interpersonal and team skills through
practical experience; learn to work effectively with people of different nationalities and cultural & educational backgrounds;
better understand your strengths and weaknesses; write a report and give a presentation of the results of your work to
management.
Qualifications:
Engineering degrees mostly in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Production and Industrial Engineering are required.
Students who are currently in their 3rd or 4th year of study and expected to graduate in 2014 or 2015). Your internship
will last from 8 to 12 weeks.
