Clarifications on WINS Vessel Incident Klarifikasi Insiden Kapal WINS

In view of some market rumours last week, the management
of WINS would like to make a clarification regarding an
incident involving one of our vessels and the implications for
the company.

In mid March 2013, one of our fleet of vessels belonging to PT
Wintermar, a subsidiary of WINS , was involved in an incident
with a small fishing vessel which resulted in casualties
involving two fishermen with minor injuries and one death in
the hospital. The Directors and Management are saddened
by this loss of life and have extended our sympathy to the
family of the victim and provided financial compensation.
Investigation of this incident has been finalized by the Police
and Port Master resulting in no charges against PT Wintermar
nor the crew on board.

Sehubungan dengan rumor yang beredar di pasar pada
minggu lalu, manajemen WINS bermaksud untuk memberi
klarifikasi mengenai insiden yang melibatkan salah satu kapal
kami dan implikasinya terhadap Perusahaan.

Pada pertengahan Maret 2013, salah satu kapal yang dimiliki
oleh PT Wintermar, anak perusahaan dari WINS, terlibat
dalam insiden dengan perahu nelayan yang mengakibatkan
dua orang nelayan mengalami luka-luka kecil dan satu
meninggal dunia di rumah sakit. Direksi dan manajemen turut
berdukacita atas kehilangan nyawa dan telah menyampaikan
belasungkawa terhadap keluarga korban dan menyerahkan
kompensasi financial. Investigasi telah dilaksanakan oleh
pihak Polisi dan Syahbandar dengan hasil bahwa atas insiden
ini tidak ada tuntutan terhadap PT Wintermar serta crew
kapal.

Our client, PHE ONWJ, in accordance with existing
regulations, has reported the matter to the upstream oil and
gas regulator, SKK MIGAS, and in line with prescribed
regulations under PTK 007, issued a notice that PT Wintermar
will not be allowed to directly participate in tenders for a period
of up to12 months.

Klien kami, PHE ONWJ, sesuai dengan peraturan yang
berlaku, telah melaporkan hal tersebut kepada badan
pengatur hulu minyak dan gas, SKK MIGAS, dan sejalan
dengan yang tersebut dalam PTK 007, mengeluarkan
pemberitahuan bahwa PT Wintermar tidak akan
diperbolehkan mengikuti tender secara langsung untuk
periode 12 bulan.

This will not affect any existing contracts of PT Wintermar that
have been secured, nor will it prevent some of our other
subsidiaries from participating in future tenders. It will
however affect a number of ongoing tenders bid through PT
Wintermar which will be automatically disqualified.

Hal ini tidak ada efek terhadap kontrak-kontrak yang telah
diperoleh oleh PT Wintermar, maupun terhadap sebagian
perusahaan-perusahaan anak lainnya untuk berpartisipasi
dalam tender di masa yang akan datang. Namun pada
sejumlah tender yang masih dalam proses atas nama PT
Wintermar secara langsung akan didiskualifikasi.
The Wintermar group has over the years built up a strong
safety track record in the industry, winning several Safety
Awards from various multi-national clients. Maritime losses
and accidents are part of the Companys risk management
assessment and such risks are managed with prudence to
mitigate losses and protect the safety of personnel as well as
the Companys assets. Amongst other mitigating steps, every
vessel is adequately insured to cover such losses, as is the
case in this incident. As a Company committed to maintaining
a very high safety standard, this incident has been shared with
employees and crew as a lesson learnt for all, so as to help
raise awareness of ongoing risks in operations. The
Management will strive to further elevate the current Standard
Operating Procedure through ongoing risk assessments and
Wintermar Group selama bertahun-tahun membangun jejak
rekam keselamatan yang baik di industri, memenangkan
beberapa Safety Award dari berbagai klien multi nasional.
Kerugian maritim dan kecelakaan adalah bagian dari penilaian
manajemen risiko Perusahaan dan risiko tersebut dikelola
dengan hati-hati untuk mengurangi kerugian-kerugian serta
melindungi keselamatan personil dan aset Perusahaan. Salah
satu langkah mitigasi, setiap kapal diasuransikan secara
memadai untuk menutupi kerugian, seperti halnya dalam
insiden ini. Sebagai suatu Perusahaan yang berkomitmen
untuk memelihara standar keselamatan yang sangat tinggi,
insiden ini merupakan pelajaran berharga atau lesson learnt
bagi semua karyawan dan awak kapal, sehingga dapat
membantu dalam meningkatkan kesadaran terhadap risiko

The Management has decided to extend the Company's
current CSR programme to work with the village of the
deceased fisherman to provide better access to safety
equipment and training.

CSR Perusahaan untuk membantu desa nelayan yang
menjadi korban untuk meningkatkan akses terhadap
peralatan dan pelatihan keselamatan.
