M/s Pushpak commodeal P ltd The firm not submitted Service tax certificate, Latest solvency certificate and has submitted only one work order under two similar work @ 50% of estimate & affidavit on Rs. 10 stamp paper. The GM (Engg) has taken a decision to invite the open tender on the advice of GM (E&M)Corp for Modernization of Otis make 04Nos. lifts at Hotel Ashok. The estimate has been submitted by the dealing engineer based on the offer of M/s Otis. Following observations needs clarification/compilation:1. The scope of work includes dismantling of existing lifts and allied equipments/accessories but there is no provision made for disposal of the same which is generally done in such cases. 2. The proposal is based on only one budgetary offer; at least one more basis of estimate be obtained & placed. 3. The proposal is said to be exclusive of ESI, EPF, Service tax, W/E & Labor cess. The basis of the statement need to be placed or necessary amendments may be made. 4. The draft tender shall be looked into on approval of estimate.
