Candidates can apply for as many subjects as he chooses. Students passing H.S./ equivalent earlier than 2013 cannot apply. Separate Application Forms must be used for separate Honours subjects. Cost of Prospectus and one Application Form is Rs 200. Cost of each additional form is Rs 100. Forms can also be downloaded from the college website (www.rkmcnarendrapur.org). In that case, the cost of Prospectus and Application Form(s) is to be deposited in cash at the time of submission of Application Form(s). For a student passing H.S. from schools run by Ramakrishna Mission, form will be issued on submission of prior Conduct Certificate from the concerned Headmaster. 2. Eligibility for Admission Test : a. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics : and Statistics 75% in aggregate *#. (Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Math at the H.S. Level/ equivalent) : 60% in aggregate *#. (Must have studied Math/ Business Math at the H.S. Level/ equivalent) c. English Honours : 65% in aggregate *# (for students from Science Stream) 60% in aggregate *#(for students from Humanities & Commerce Stream) d. Computer Science : 75% in aggregate *#. (Must have studied Physics/Computer Application/ Computer Science and Mathematics at the H.S. Level/ equivalent) 55% in aggregate *#

* Aggregate to be calculated on the basis of scores in the best of five(5) subjects including Languages and excluding Environmental Science. # 5% relaxation in aggregate for SC/ST candidates. 3. A candidate shall not be allowed to take up Honours in the subject under heading A if he has not passed the subject(s) mentioned under the heading B in the HS/ equivalent examination. A candidate may be admitted to the First Year Class provided he has passed in five recognised subjects of full marks not being less than 100 each excluding ENVS. A candidate passing in four subjects shall not be eligible to admission to the course. b. Environmental Education as a compulsory subject shall not be taken into account for calculating the aggregate marks. Percentage of marks will be calculated by adding the marks in the top 5 subjects. 11. If selected for more than one subject, a candidate will initially take admission to any one of those subjects as per his choice. However, if he chooses to change later on, he can do so ONLY ONCE, and within a declared time-limit. However, the Principals discretion in this regard will be final. 13. Concessions are granted to a restricted number of Poor students with brilliant academic records. A separate application is to be submitted for this purpose at the time of admission only. 14. N.B. a. Only one attested copy of Marksheet, Caste Certificate (where applicable) and two copies of photo attached in the space provided are required at the time of submission of form. b. If selected, following documents are to be submitted at the time of admission : i. One xerox copy each of marksheets and Admit Cards of Madhyamik/ equivalent and H.S/ equivalent Examination. ii. Character certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended. iii. One recent passport size photograph (without attestation) of the student in white dress. iv. A health certificate by a registered medical practitioner, mentioning the blood group. v. A Caste certificate (if applicable). vi. Income certificate of the guardian from relevant authority. vii.
