Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their Picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

The Holy Spirit empowers believers with gifts to heal the sick supernaturally.

Acts 10:38, How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power; who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him.

Father God, Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastors Ron and Hope. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed. In Jesus' name, Amen

I will be filled with the Holy Ghost and will speak in other tongues as the Spirit gives me utterance. Acts 2:4 When I speak in an unknown tongue I edify myself, but when I prophesy I edify the church. I Corinthians 14:4 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but I do not understand. I Corinthians 14:14

Jesus body was brutally beaten before He died on the cross. On the cross He paid the penalty for our sins. At the whipping post He paid for our healing. He suffered physically in order to buy healing for us. With God inside us in the form of the Holy Spirit, we can do things Jesus did when He was on the earth. Some believers, like Paul, are empowered with the Gift of Healing where a sick person gets healed immediately. All believers are given power to lay hands on the sick and use their faith to pray for healing. When believers do this, the sick person may recover gradually. When we pray for someones healing and it doesnt happen instantly, we should continue to believe God and use our faith, because it is always Gods will to heal.
