January 2008 Preparation of the plan of action that will be approved by the director of the institution Prioritization of the actions that are going to be undertaken in the following six months, according to the overall goal and time scheduling Main resources used are the director of the institution and the employees

The long term effect expected is commitment to implementation of IEM

February 2008 The first step should be setting up the emergency preparedness committee and emergency teams that will include the director, architect, curator of collection, day and night guard, documentarist, photographer The expected outcome is incensement of the capacity for emergency management of the staff in our institution Besides the director and museum staff, the Ministry of Culture will be included as the main resource for funding Increasing the security of the collections in our museum buildings

Building up partnership with organizations by identifying the key stakeholders within and outside the museum Prepared contact lists for including and assistance of outer stakeholders and volunteers in emergency situations Main resources are: Ministry of Culture, Police, Fire brigade, Red Cross, insurance companies and other national disaster prevention agencies Effective and long term cooperation and coordination with IGOs and NGOs in cases of emergency
