Youth in the program are ofered a comprehensive medical, nutritional, and psychosocial evaluation. Tey are enrolled in an intensive nutrition and physical activity program. Tis is available to overweight youth between the ages 12 to 21. Te BN Fit Program is held from 4:30pm6:30pm at PS 8, 3010 Briggs Avenue, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Te program allows teens to meet new friends, play a variety of games and sports, try new foods, go on trips and much more. A program for boys and girls who may have one Jewish parent and one parent who comes from multi- social or ethnic families (just like Moses), or two Jewish parents but have no Jewish identifcation or education. Te Moses Project is ofered as a non- religious program teaching Jewish history, culture, stories, traditions, music, dance, holiday celebrations to children in a fun, interesting, and creative way. In addition, the program will provide trips to places of Jewish interest (transportation will provided). Family participation is welcome.
