PROFILE:
A qualified, practical and experimental Civil Engineer with in-depth knowledge
of water, sanitary and sewerage plants in Syria.
Has successfully organized and completed many complex and sophisticated on-
site constructions, commissioning and preventative maintenance procedures for plant
equipment and systems.
Experience in Academic Management with detailed involvement in work
planning and delicate various section activities liaison between main and sub-
contractors, from project document specifications preparation to commissioning.
A member of technical committees which advice the Syrian government on water
and sewage forecast and requirements.
A civil Engineering Department manager, capable of carrying out “hands-on”
leadership whenever required.
A systematic problem analyzer and trouble shooter to water treatment and
sewerage operating plants and an incidents investigations and subsequent report
presentation.

DUTIES UNDERTAKEN:
Responsible for the water system distribution system and sewerage plants design
of many small towns and villages throughout Northern Syria. This
includes the case study for the area requirement followed by design layout and
preparation to tender specification and documents, also the involvement of analyzing
the contractors tenders and amending the requirements as the work progressed.
Further studies were undertaken to improve and up-grade the existing sewerage
plants for the city of Aleppo and integrating large residential area systems into the
existing water and sewerage systems. Also, I was of the other large cities in Northern
Syria.

In addition to the above commitments, I was the Head of the Syrian Committee
for the up-grading and developing the city of Aleppo (2 Million Inhabitants) Water and
Sewerage Systems, with budget allocation of (440 Million Syrian Lira) and (92 Millions
U.S. $) as International Bank grant for the Project development.
Other small project were also under taken for commercial buildings, hotels, and
small factories for natural and chemical waste disposal.
