To lead and direct the manufacturing function. Strategizing and executing the volume delivery process to meet the business plan by closely working with Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, Head- R&D, Technology & Innovation and other key stakeholders. To make strategic plans for production capacities augmentation, key material availability to meet company's projected short, medium & Long term plans. Maintain a collaborative liaison with the bottling network for quick and flexible response from the copackers. Upgrade the overall quality standards by educating/updating the existing skill base and infuse new skill and fresh talent to make the function vibrant and responsive to new challenges. Steering the ongoing projects and new projects as per future requirement. Reinforce the existing vendor network by building a strong vendor relation and expanding the vendor base to bring about procurement efficacies in the system. The position has Strategic PAN India & Leadership responsibility for ensuring manufacturing delivery, plant efficiency and operational profitability of the company owned manufacturing units and contract bottling units in the zone with support & collaboration from Head-Technical. He will be overall responsible for the Manufacturing Volume Objective ensuring the volume delivery on time at budgeted cost to support the business plan of the company. He will be critical member of MANCOM and will proactively interface with internal customers e.g. HeadTechnical, Sales & Marketing, Finance functions to develop better and efficient customer understanding and ensure faster reaction and turnaround time. Oversee and control supply chain function and maintain relationship with major suppliers of ENA, Packing materials, especially critical ones. Making and implementing sourcing strategy for Spirit for the co. Lead Cost Optimization initiatives in the area of Manufacturing and Supply chain. Improve existing measurement parameters & set new standards and SLAs for manufacturing delivery. Will coordinate with Head-R&D, Technology & Innovation and CQCL to undertake TQM and Quality control initiatives and establish GMP & Quality management systems (QMS) in all units in consultation with National Quality head to deliver zero complaints in product quality. Will interface & coordinate with Head-R&D, Technology & Innovation to evolve system adequacy to support the quality objective in the immediate term and also the long term. Target to improve product delivery standard with a clear performance measurement mechanism. Coordinate with the Sales Organisation to service order on time consistently. Keep tab of competitive activities and update management committee accordingly to take appropriate measures to protect long term interest of the company, brand, manpower and other resources. Guide the regional manufacturing operation on sound techno commercial principle and achieve the set objectives/goals. Liaise with the Co-packing partner to earn their goodwill and respect for the long term objective of the organisation. Mentor and train the team for upgrading skill and prepare the team for future challenges. Steering New Projects, either bottling or distilling in close collaboration with Head-Supply Chain and Head-R&D, Technology & Innovation. Close co-ordination with Finance for Costing, Budgeting, Tracking the business on an ongoing basis to stay on course and meet the Budget objectives. Administer personnel in the Manufacturing team. Keep oneself abreast of Excise rules and regulations effecting business and proactively manage business and liaison. Comply with all statutory norms under the specific rules of manufacturing of Alcobev Product both at State and Central level.
