The Blood of Jesus in Heaven The Blood of the Lamb of God offered in Heaven Jesus still sheds His

sacred Blood Jesus sprinkles His shed blood in the Heavenly Sanctuary

What do the writings of Ellen G. White have to say about Jesus ministering His sacred blood in the Heavenly Sanctuary?
(The Seventh Day Adventist Sanctuary Doctrine requires Literal Blood in a Literal Heavenly Sanctuary where there is yet a precious Lamb as it has been slain)

This is in response to the following explanation found in the book Seventh Day Adventists Believe: An Exposition of 27 Fundamental Beliefs: The Doctrine of Last Things
Chapter 23

Christ's Ministry in the Heavenly Sanctuary

... When Jesus, the Passover Lamb of God, calls out, "It is finished!" He dies for the
sins of the world. Type has met antitype. The very event the Temple services have pointed to through the centuries has taken place. The Saviour has completed His atoning sacrifice, and because symbol has met reality, the rituals foreshadowing this sacrifice have been superseded. Thus the rent veil, the dropped knife, the escaped lamb. But there is more to salvation history. It reaches beyond the cross. Jesus' resurrection and ascension direct our attention to the heavenly sanctuary, where, no

longer the Lamb, He ministers as priest. The once-for-all sacrifice has been
offered (Heb. 9:28); now He makes available to all the benefits of this atoning sacrifice. (page 313, italics and underline added)

This assertion that Jesus is no longer a Lamb in heaven, as stated above in Seventh Day Adventists Believe, I fundamentally disagree with, because in the book of Revelation John sees Jesus in His temple in heaven as a Lamb as it had been slain (Revelation 5:6)... Please read the following:
According to the writings of Ellen G. White, the typology of the shed blood of lambs and goats meets their antitype in the heavenly sanctuary where Jesus still sheds His sacred blood Behold:

1.) Type: New Sins confessed over an individual offering (the writings of Ellen G. White seem to indicate that Christs Sacrifice on the Cross was a corporate offering for the whole human race to give us a second probation, which then would require individual offerings to still be presented just as in the earthly tabernacle see links below for more EGW quotes and research on this and more) Antitype in heaven: "I Will Take Their Sins."--What is Christ doing in heaven? He is interceding for us. By His work the threshold of heaven is flushed with the glory of God which will shine upon every soul who will open the windows of the soul heavenward. As the prayers of the sincere and contrite ones ascend to heaven Christ says to the Father, "I will take their sins. Let them stand before you innocent." As He takes their sins from them, He fills their hearts with the glorious light of truth and love. (Ellen G. White, MS 28, 1901) {Seventh Day Adventist Bible Commentary, page 930.16} As anciently the sins of the people were by faith placed upon the sin offering and through its blood transferred, in figure, to the earthly sanctuary, so in the new covenant the sins of the repentant are by faith placed upon Christ and transferred, in fact, to the

heavenly sanctuary. {Ellen G. White, The Great Controversy, page 421.3}

2.) Type: The sacrificial offering is killed and its blood shed, symbolizing and substituting the death of the sinner Antitype in heaven: (The writings of Ellen G. White seem to indicate that Jesus death on the Cross was His only death, but afterward in heaven He still sheds His blood in this continual ministry for the forgiveness of sins) The rock which, smitten by the command of God, sent forth its living waters, was a symbol of Christ, smitten and bruised that by his blood a fountain might be prepared for the salvation of perishing man. As the rock had been once smitten, so Christ was to be "once offered, to bear the sins of many." But when Moses rashly smote the rock at Kadesh, the beautiful symbol of Christ was marred. Our Saviour was not to be sacrificed a second time. As the great offering was made but once, it is only necessary for those who seek the blessings of his grace to ask in Jesus' name,-to pour forth the heart's desires in penitential prayer. Such prayer will bring before the Lord of hosts the wounds of Jesus, and then will flow forth afresh the

life-giving blood, symbolized by the flowing of the living water for thirsting Israel. {Ellen G. White, Signs of the Times, October 7, 1880 par. 2} Children of the Lord, how precious is the promise! How full the atonement of the Saviour for our guilt! The Redeemer, with a heart of unalterable love, still sheds his sacred blood in the sinner's behalf.

3.) Type: The sins of the repentant sinner are transferred to the tabernacle by the blood of the sacrifice... Antitype in Heaven: As anciently the sins of the people were by faith placed upon the sin offering and through its blood transferred, in figure, to the earthly sanctuary, so in the new covenant the sins of the repentant are by faith placed upon Christ and transferred, in fact, to the heavenly sanctuary. {Ellen G. White, The Great Controversy, page 421.3} As the sins of the people were anciently transferred, in figure, to the earthly sanctuary by the blood of the sin-offering, so our sins are, in fact, transferred to the heavenly sanctuary by the blood of Christ. {Ellen G. White, The Spirit of Prophecy, page 266.1} 4.) Type: The sins of the repentant rest in the sanctuary until blotted out in the Day of Atonement...

Antitype: And as the typical cleansing of the earthly was accomplished by the removal of the sins by which it had been polluted, so the actual cleansing of the heavenly is to be accomplished by the removal, or blotting out, of the sins which are there recorded. This necessitates an examination of the books of record to determine who, through repentance of sin and faith in Christ, are entitled to the benefits of his atonement. The cleansing of the sanctuary therefore involves a work of investigative Judgment. This work must be performed prior to the coming of Christ to redeem his people; for when he comes, his reward is with him to give to every man according to his works. [REV. 22:12.] {Ellen G. White, The Spirit of Prophecy, page 266.1} The blood of Christ, while it was to release the repentant sinner from the condemnation of the law, was not to cancel the sin; it would stand on record in the sanctuary until the final atonement; so in the type the blood of the sin offering removed the sin from the penitent, but it rested in the sanctuary until the Day of Atonement. {PP 357.5} In the great day of final award, the dead are to be "judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works." Revelation 20:12. Then by virtue of the atoning blood of Christ, the sins

of all the truly penitent will be blotted from the books of heaven. Thus the sanctuary will be freed, or cleansed, from the record of sin. In the type, this great work of atonement, or blotting out of sins, was represented by the services of the Day of Atonement-the cleansing of the earthly sanctuary, which was accomplished by the removal, by virtue of the blood of the sin offering, of the sins by which it had been polluted. {Ellen G. White, Patriarchs and Prophets, page 357.6}

For years now I have been seeking an honest inquiry into these things... I dont believe they can easily be glossed over... and it seems that the response of the Seventh Day Adventists who dont want to look into these things leads them to believe that there is no more Lamb in heaven... Jesus is only a High Priest...

PLEASE, please... someone... lets ask questions, study these things out and FACE THE TRUTH that these things are indeed in the writings

of Ellen G. White... they can only be true or false... but it is not an honest response to continue to act as though these statements are not there... and meanwhile to say there is no Lamb in heaven... if we are going to hold to the doctrine of a literal Sanctuary in Heaven and know that John saw Jesus as a Lamb as He had been slain IN HEAVEN, we need to face these statements, evaluate if we have denied the plain truth the doctrines of the heavenly sanctuary and the Investigative Judgment were always leading us to and stop avoiding having this honest discussion...

Please help do what you can do to bring these matters to the forefront so that they get an honest investigation... THANK YOU
Christ as high priest within the veil so immortalized Calvary that though He liveth unto God, He dies continually to sin, and thus if any man sin, he has an advocate with the Father. {Ellen G. White, Selected Messages Volume One, page 343.1}
