Unit 1 1.25 hr exam (objective, structural, short answer & practical questions) Unit 2 1.25 hr exam (objective, structural, short answer & practical questions) Unit 3 practical biology skills assessed on; use of apparatus skilfully and safely, production and recording of reliable and valid results research skills - written report of a visit to biological interest or research into biological topic assessed on; describe methods & processes, identify questions/problems, identify implications & applications, use of appropriate resources, clear communication & use of visuals
