Bolt Load Software

The Tentec Bolted Joint documentation package is a purpose designed software package, that allows rapid creation of necessary documentation for topside and subsea bolt tensioning projects. The package was designed with the philosophy of minimal input, maximum output. Documentation for multiple bolted joint projects can be created very quickly with minimal operator input. The software package contains data for the following Standard bolted flanges.

ANSI B16.5 API 6A API 17SV Norsok L-005 SPO Compact Flanges Taperlok Flanges.

The software creates the following documentation:Individual Flange Documents

These multiple pages (1 per flange) gives the following information... Recommended Tentec tensioning tool to use Recommended Residual Bolt Stress Recommended Pressures to achieve residual Bolt Stress. Recommended Bolt lengths for use with Tentec Bolt Tensioning Tools Recommended Torque values, with variable lubrication factors Gives a graphical representation of predicted bolt stress path over time. Gives a thumbnail technical drawing of the Tensioning tool with primary dimensions. Warnings of any flange/tensioner fit problems

Project Summary Document

Creation of a document containing summary data of each flange to be tensioned. Summary Data gives... Bolted Joint Description Flange Specification Bolt Diameter No of Bolts Bolt Material Residual Target Bolt Stress Tentec Tool Reference Tensioner pressures for 100% Bolt tensioning or less than 100% coverage Torque values to achieve residual bolt stress Recommended bolt lengths

Project Inventory Document

Creation of a document containing a list of base tensioning tools and pullers/split reaction nuts required to facilitate the project.

Revision History Document

Keep track of changes made to the project with a history of all changes made.
