IntroductionIn this syllabus this paper contains three important Acts1. The CG Land Revenue Code, 1959 2. The CG Accommodation Control Act, 1961 3. The Land Acquisition Act, 1894

CGLRC (Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code, 1959) deals with the provisions relating to land revenue, appointment and powers of revenue authorities, the rights and liabilities of tenure holder and some other provisions of land administration. This law was passed to reform the conditions of the farmers.

Chhattisgarh Accommodation Act, 1961 was to regulate the provisions relating to rent of accommodation. This Act deals with the provisions of the payment of rent, control of rent, standard rent. This Act provides for the protection of the tenant and for the eviction of the tenant on ground of bonafide requirement of the landlord.

The Land Acquisition Act,1894-Land Acquisition literally means acquiring of land for some public purpose by

government/government agency, as authorised by the law, from the individual landowner(s) after paying a government fixed

compensation in lieu of losses incurred by land owner(s) due to surrendering of his/their land to the concerned government agency.
