Single crochet, sc (US) / Double crochet , dc (UK) Slip stitch (sl st) SNOW FLAKE: Crochet 48 dc with crochet hook size 2.5 mm with Cotton Viscose round the curtain ring (if ring is smaller/larger, adjust the number of dc accordingly making sure no of dc is divisible by 3), and finish with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round. ROUND 1: 6 ch, * skip 2 dc, 1 dc in next dc, 5 ch *, repeat from *-*, and finish with 5 ch, skip the last 2 dc and work 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 16 ch-loops. ROUND 2: Crochet as follows in each ch-loop: 2 dc, 3 ch, 1 dc in first ch (= 1 picot) and 2 dc, finish with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round. Do not cut the thread! HANDLE: Crochet 30 ch and fasten with 1 sl st at the end of ROUND 2, cut and fasten thread. Sew on the button inside the ring, just under the handle.
