THANKS FROM THE CHILDREN This year, our collection of backpacks and school supplies exceeded anything we had done in the past. I am not surprised, because the people of St. Francis Borgia are truly generous! For those children victimized by terrible crimes, our donations are a small way to remind them that there ARE people who do care about them. May God bless and reward all of you who were so generous this year. Fr. Joe Mulcrone Catholic Womens Club

Respect Life
Testimony of a Dad after abortion: Quite often I even wake up in the morning thinking painfully of the undeniably selfish act I did over 11 years ago - STILL! I know I overrode in my core being my conscience (dulled at the time) and my Fatherhood instinct. No two ways about it: I acted - no, I was a coward. My action, despite my confession and repentance before my Creator - continues to rob much of the joy from my life. I would do anything (if God would accept the bargain) to reverse that fateful mistake.

Q&A
What is a Commitment Card and Why Use It? First, our campaign commitment card is a simple statement of intent, not a contract. Knowledge of what dollar amounts to expect is critical to plan wisely for our future. How Much Should I Consider When Planning My Gift? We ask each household to prayerfully answer this question: What is God calling me to do for our Church through the To Teach who Christ Is Campaign? If Necessary, May I Change My Commitment? Of course. Should your circumstances change and you need to alter your giving plan, please contact our parish office. When Do I Receive My Card? All cards are distributed and returned during Commitment Weekend on September 14 & 15, 2013. If you are unable to attend, you will receive your commitment card in the mail with instructions on how to complete and return it.
