E. Autobiography My name is Tu Yi-Ling. I graduated from Chung Yuan University, studying Industry engineering. After that, I have worked in NPG (subsidiary of NEC Japan) for 2.5 years. I was promoted from assistant engineer to component engineer. In the first year, I analyzed and evaluated LCD components received from various suppliers and its associated reporting. In the second year, I assisted in improving suppliers quality to ensure components meet specifications for manufacturing. I was in charge in reviewing and approving component specifications, providing recommendations to suppliers, and compiling specifications manuals. I also learned about hazardous substances control and had opportunities to work with various suppliers. I always have passions in art design and have taken some design courses in university where I developed my skills in computer and hand design. After my first company was shut down, I decided to pursue my passion in industrial and mechanical design. I'm well versed with Photoshop, Illustrator software etc and have completed Pro/E wildfire 4.0 courses at PTC. Following in July 2010, I took up a position as a mechanical engineer in Green Treasures Technology. I got more familiar and skillful with those drawing software and design environment. After that, I worked as a packaging design engineer in Inventec. I was in charge of the structural packaging design of server systems and sub-systems, doing the package tests to verify the design and writing its associate reporting. I also assisted in annual package cost reduction plans and a study of packaging structure (simulations and related tests). Currently I am a customer engineer who is the contact window between clients and internal R&D division at Advanced International. I take charge of project progress and budget control. With several working experiences at different fields, I hope I can keep enhancing my ability and continue to work towards mechanical/packaging design path in my future undertakings. About myself, Im a fast learner, creative and responsible person. Due to often dealing with suppliers independently, I have built my confidence in problem solving, communication and English skills. I just took the TOEIC test this year and scored 805. I expect myself not only to meet the job requirements but also to continue growing. I hope in the future I can use what Ive learned in work and keep improving myself to be the best.
