Explain your answer. The People Power or EDSA 1. That was a moment in our history that we are united against a person and his cronies. Unity among the Filipinos during that time is what made that endeavour very successful. We achieved what we really wanted and formed a government that would suit our needs. Speech In my opinion, school is just a teenage version of life in the real world, and a lot of problems we encounter in school manifest themselves outside of it. One such problem would be selfdiscipline when it comes to making difficult choices. In school, we choose between listening to the teacher and letting our thoughts wander, doing our assignment and watching tv. Outside, its often a choice between obeying our parents and following our own desires, which usually go against their wishes. We often go for the easier option, obviously because it require less effort and no sacrifice at all. In this battle against the self, there is no simple solution. One way to address this problem, I guess, is to set our eyes on the goal, which justifies why we should do things we dont feel like doing. Listening to the teacher and doing our assignment may seem like chores right now, but in the long run, we know well be thankful we s tudied hard while we still had the chance. Our parents only have our best interest at heart and its best to remember this the next time we feel like starting a rebellion. Most of all, we should keep in mind that being a grown up and succeeding in life will always require making tough calls.

D) Mending walls 1) Why doesnt the speaker in the poem like a wall or fence between neighbours? Because there is no reason for the wall between them since there isnt anything that they need to contain. A wall may symbolize a gap among people, neighbours which may be caused by their problems. 2)Do you agree that good fences make good neighbours ?Explain.

In some aspects, since we need to maintain some privacy in our life too. It all boils down on the preference of the person but for me, I agree with this saying. I like to maintain some privacy in my life and having a good fence can help me maintain that privacy that I want. 3)Why does the speaker in the poem think that mending a wall is playing an outdoor game? Since there are two of them playing it. Its more of an interacting game wherein they need to interact with each other while mending the wall. 4)What are the differences between the speaker in the poem and his neighbour? Being a wall builder and wall breaker. The narrator is more of a wall breaker, he wants the wall that separates him from his neighbour broken down. However, his neighbour wants to maintain a wall to maintain his privacy. 5)In your opinion, does the speaker in the poem think that following tradition is always a good thing? Quote lines from the poem to support your answer.Do you agree?Explain No, he actually questioned the quote thrown at him by his neighbour. He only says, Good fences make good neighbours. This was when the narrator suggests breaking down the wall that separates them. It was a tradition that a wall be put up between neighbours but the narrator objects in the presence of the wall between them reasoning that it shows gap between them. 6)What could be the main cause for a barrier between two person? Among nations. Misunderstanding may be a major cause of rift among persons. In some aspects wherein they dont understand each other, a rift is brewing if misunderstanding happens. 7)How can the barrier between individuals be broken down? The barrier between people of different nations? Respect and understanding may break down a barrier between persons and nations. If we just respect each other, respect in what we believe in, there would be no brewing rift or whatever. Understanding each other, on what each and every one of us want, a barrier could be broken down.
