Tips to bring out the happy side of you: Sleep Sleep is a big factor if you want to be a happy person. Sleep is needed for the body to be able to function properly. When you dont get enough sleep you might be moody, have an inability to think clearly, and very unhappy. You might get 8 hours of sleep but you think that you get enough hours of sleep. You may be oversleeping or even be sleeping the wrong way. Some people dont get a good nights rest with a pillow while others need a very fluffy pillow. Your mattress could play into a bad night of sleep also. Sleep is a big factor and lack of sleep can cause problems with your health also. Ensuring total well being requires a good night sleep.

If you are not sleeping well and you have determined the lack of sleep plays into how miserable you are throughout the days you need to fix this. You might need to change your daily schedule so you can get to bed earlier. You also might need to encourage other people in your household to help you a little bit more if you are working too hard. Sleep can be the entire reason you are miserable. If you have the inability to get to sleep and you toss around all night long staring at the alarm clock this could mean many different things. Some people are very depressed and it causes them not to be able to sleep well. To ensure happiness you need to get a good night of sleep. Exercise

Exercise is very good for the body and it helps the brain put out endorphins which are responsible for making you happy. Exercise is important for total health. This doesnt mean that you have to be on a heavy exercise routine on a daily basis. However, you should try to sweat everyday. You can get an amazing exercise but just cleaning the house and doing normal household chores. This isnt about losing weight. It is about creating happiness. Meditation Practicing meditation doesnt mean you belong to a cult or you are doing anything religiously wrong. Many people associate meditation with Buddhism and think it is wrong. They are missing out on something extremely important which could be exactly what they need to balance out their days. Meditation is one of the most effective ways to change your subjective well being. Doctors have proven meditation to generate brain activity on the left side, which produces a positive emotion in the body. Self Esteem is what you want for yourself. Things happen and sometimes there are things you say or do that unwittingly push your partner away (even when you dont mean to.).

A Story from My Relationship:


Heres what I did this week that I think a lot can be learned from about how NOT to be with someone you really care about like your beloved Weve been working on a new project and I was in high control mode because of the amount of work that needs to be done in a relatively short amount of time. While Im really proud that I can get things done pretty efficientlytheres a down side to all of that.

Once I get control mode going, its hard for me to stop. Ive noticed that when Im in control mode, I can steam-roller over pretty much anyone if I allow myself to do itincluding my beloved, Otto. Can you relate at all to this? Maybe you dont get controlling but Im guessing that you fall into some pattern that separates you from your partner from time to time. Many women start getting bitchy. Or withdrawn. Or withhold S-ex Or any number of reactions to stress because both women and men (in times of overwhelm or uncertainty) tend to either speed up or slow down and its different for everyone. So what was it that I did that pushed Otto away from me this week? Something he really hates. I tried to tell him how to drive! What a hoot. Otto happens to be a great driver and I tried to control when he made a turn (it wasnt fast enough for me) and what route he would take as we were going to work out. He was immediately angry with me (he was not at his best either because of our project) and we rode in silence to our personal trainers gym.. Okay, so were not perfect at communicating ALL the time but heres the thing Were feeling close and connected now and heres what I learned (re-learned) that Ill share with you.

Use what we call magic words to admit when you are wrong. It wasnt my intention to hurt you and Im sorry. Using these Magic Words in your relationship can make all the difference in the world 3. Open to seeing your habitual pattern that takes you away from love, be aware of it and head it off at the pass. When I feel myself in control mode, I know that its time to calm myself down, come into my heart center, and shift my attention away from outside me to inside me. My work is to know that I can be efficient and get my work done without trying to control whats outside me, whats none of my business and what doesnt need to be controlled. Ever heard of relationship addiction? addiction? Being a love addict? and relationship addiction is even possible, but it has actually been added to the mounting list of addictions.. Yes, food addiction, drug addiction, and work addiction is somewhat acceptable, but being addicted to love? Actually having a diagnosis of relationship addiction? It sounds so bizarre, yet so real. Being addicted to love is actually a description, a form of the diagnosis of relationship addiction. The relationship addiction may be towards important people in their lives such as parents, child, a boss, a lover, or a spouse, which they unconsciously get fixated with. The key aspect is how the person feels when the people they have a relationship with, disagree with them, or disapproves them, or moves away from them. It triggers a feeling of threat and becomes a cause of their pain and frustration. Relationship addiction should not be taken lightly as they can be very incapacitating and fatal at times. At least once a week one of my clients or someone who has purchased one of my e-books asks for the same relationship advice, Please help me understand what men want. Its pretty simple.

Because they lack that distinct physical advantage, little girls grow into women who naturally have greater difficulty trusting when they feel vulnerable. They are even less inclined to trust if the threat, or perceived threat, is coming from a man. When a man asks a woman he loves to simply trust him, its not that simple for her. Women associate feelings with nearly every thought. When a woman hears the word trust, she must feel the emotion for the word to have any meaning. Wanting to trust a man just isnt enough. Men, if you want a woman to trust you, she will need something from you to help her develop that trust. She needs a tool or gesture that she can count on until that trust is established. A Man Creates Trust By Keeping His Word Nothing will cultivate trust in a woman more than a man who consistently keeps his word. Women need to see men fulfill promises, not just make them. Lets look at an example of how witnessing something differs from hearing it. Suppose someone told you Im the meanest person they ever met. For months you hear about all the terrible things Ive done to my family and friends. The longer you hear how mean and selfish I am, the easier it is for you to believe. When we finally are introduced, however, you start to notice I really dont seem to be as awful as you were led to believe. I listen attentively. I dont respond arrogantly, with aggression or indifference. I seem genuinely interested and caring about you and the things youre saying about your life. Thinking about the encounter later, youre surprised that I actually seemed quite pleasant. Would one meeting change your whole opinion about me? Probably not. However, if, over a period of weeks, you see me respond consistently with kindness and humility, your opinion will change. You wont be able to ignore the paradox created by what youve heard about me and how youve seen me behave. As the rumors fade, most, if not all, of your concerns about my character will be replaced by your own positive impressions. No more relationship

Men, I promiseif you consistently treat the woman you love as someone you value, if you keep your word, you will be astounded at how quickly that trust will grow and along with it, your relationship. When a woman trusts a man, she also has a strong desire to please him. Failing to keep your word with a woman creates fear and doubt. Being trustworthy, generates exactly the opposite reaction. What men want is trust and women genuinely want to have faith in men. Every man has the ability to make that happen by simply doing what he says hes going to do. Keep your word. Youll not only earn her trust, youll win her heart.
