Dear Sir,

I am writing to apply for the post of Admin and Procurement Assistant of “Activating Village
Courts” project as advertised in the Daily Star dated May 05, 2009. UNDP is place of excellence in
the context of career development and working with multifarious sectors which attract me to be
involved with UNDP.

Though I have gotten my bachelor degree in Business Administration I have launched my career in
development sector. Since 2003 I am working in development arena my activities mainly
concentrated in administrative, financial and writing. Since I am interested in official jobs, I
definitely look forward to get the position. With the help of this job, my goal is to eventually develop
a career in Finance and Admin section of international organization and serve humanity the best. I
have held positions in a wide variety of fields in the development arena.

My previous jobs include positions in the writing as well as the Finance and Admin. section as a
Finance Coordinator, Finance , HRM and Fund raising consultant with a local NGOs. Through the
jobs that I have held, I have had that opportunity to lead and work with a wide spectrum of people.
For instance I lead PASA’s team in INDIA during financial assessment. I have been appointed to
many Finance, Admin and Documentation experiences that have prepared me to be an important
asset to any organization. These roles include being the Finance Coordinator , Consultant of PASA.

I have a strong background with Fiannce and Human Resource Management. I have studied Business
Adminstration , I have spent time in PASA (NGO) , AID , Srizony Bangladesh and another 2 local
organization with different capacity of Admin , Finance and Documentation. I have had close contact
with UN Culture in Kalia , Narail at UNICEF SHEWAB project and European Commission for
women worker’s rights project(2007).

By being involved with development field I know I would gain many abilities and skills that would
wonderfully equip me to pursue my career in Finance and Admin section along with documentation.
I am very excited to be a part of United Nations Development Programme. I believe that my
experience in the development field , management and leadership skills, and my desire to learn,
makes me a strong candidate for a position of Admin. and Procurement Assistant. I look forward to

Major accomplishment:
Prepare and publish Annual Report-2008, Develop module for the rights based training of Women

EC through writing project proposal. Final report of EC funded project, INAS report and complete

expenditures for regular reporting to board, Computerization of Finance Department of PASA as per
the guideline of ICCO, Netherlands.

1. Work with Agarwal Kekriwal & Co. India and ICCO, the Netherlands.
2. Lead PASA’s team in INDIA and during financial Assessment.
