SIROCCO FLY ASH PRODUCTS POZZ-SAND

Pozz-Sand : reactive fine aggregate for use as a replacement for natural or crushed building, plaster and concreting sands in all concrete and mortar applications.

Uses
To Improve the quality and consistency of concrete and mortars particularly where gapgraded and poorly shaped sands are used Reduced water demand with better lubrication of the mix results in increased workability and strength Improved rheology provides cohesion, increased density and a better surface finish

Cost effective fine aggregate substitute or replacement Improved workability at lower water content Reactive; provides greater later age strength development Reduced bleeding and segregation Concrete is easier to compact and has an improved surface finish

Description
Pozz-Sand is produced as a by-product from the flue gases of thermal power stations. Pozz-Sand consists of spherical particles which enhance the performance of concrete due to their shape, size and chemical composition. Pozz-Sand typically has a moisture content of 10% by mass, this assists in the delivery, stock-piling and general handling of the material to and on site.
