Number: Making connections between our experiences with number can help us to develop number sense. Data handling: Organising objects and events helps us to solve problems.

PE

Exploring equipment and relating to body parts that are used. Games using body parts in instructions. Games with fruits and vegetables.

Library

Making letters and numbers using their bodies in groups. Using ladders and benches to make different constructions for children to climb over, under, through, etc. Parts of the book: title, cover, blurb, text; listening to and looking at stories; handling books

Parachute games. Games tag games, acting games. Pathways shapes on the floor e.g. circles, spirals, zig-zag. Practicing for Sports day.
