IQNet seeks to engage a suitable person to act in the role of the

MANAGING DIRECTOR
The candidate must be willing to take residence and work in Switzerland. The workplace is located at the IQNet Head Office in Bern, where all services are taken care of by a small support team of 6 employees. The Managing Director will report to the IQNet Board of Directors. The position will involve frequent travelling.

Main Responsibilities Management of the organisations projects and operations aiming at achieving of short and long-term business objectives as set up by the BoD (Board of Directors), increasing efficiency and IQNet partner market shares Deployment of the organisations objectives, policies and programs and, if appropriate, setting of specific targets and goals. Analysis of economic, social, technical, legal and other data or trends to inform the BoD and partners Develop and increase the business of IQNet Ltd., a subsidiary of IQNet Association Proposing innovative development and strategic growth actions in line with IQNets global strategy and objectives Coordination and provision of support for global certification activities Preparation, consolidation and monitoring of budgets, required reports and forecasts and presentation of them for adoption by the BoD, the General Assembly and IQNet partners Monitoring of all organisational activities to protect the financial resources invested and the interests of partners to ensure the security and development of assets and resources Appraisal of the activities of the organisation according to strategies and objectives and monitoring and evaluation of the organisations performance Representation of IQNet in international organisations and official events and liaison with other organisations (e.g. major suppliers, customers, industry associations and regulators) Management of partner relationships, including active participation in peer evaluations within the partner network Establishment of controls to ensure the compliance of the organisations activities with relevant acts, legal demands and ethical standards

Required competencies Self-driven executive with proven successful management experience, preferably obtained in an international environment Strong marketing, negotiating, communication and networking capabilities Creative/charismatic personality, able to liaise with stakeholders Team player, able to lead and motivate people Experience in management system certification, standardization and/or auditing Customer and business focused. Ability to successfully initiate and deploy projects Fluent in English. Command of German or French preferable; other languages are advantageous

The employment contract will be in line with prevailing Swiss employment conditions. Engagement and salary will be negotiable based on the candidates experience, qualifications and capabilities.
