All measurement shall be in strict accordance with the principles laid down in the Malaysian Standard Method of Measurement of Building Works 2 nd Edition (SMM2). Marks will be given based on correct principles and accuracy of measurement, accurate and completeness of descriptions and understanding of construction principles. QUESTION 1 Built-up rate for the following items which are extracted from the Bill of Quantities;

a)

300mm x 300mm approved plate glass mirror fixed with 6mm thick waterproof plywood backing rubber gasket with aluminium channel strip edging and fixing with chromium plated headed screws to tiled wall. - NO (10 marks)

b) Formwork to horizontal soffit of suspended slab. - M2 (10 marks) c) Reinforced in-situ concrete Grade 30 in suspended slab, thickness exceeding 300mm thick. - M3 (By Machine) (15 marks) d) Steel fabric reinforcement to B.S 4483 Ref. A 252 with 150mm side and end laps in concrete wall. - M2 (5 marks) e) 25mm nominal bore Class B galvanised mild steel pipe to B.S 1387 with screwed socket joints in the running length fixed with metal clips, plugged and screwed to brickwork, concrete or stonework at 1.20m centers. - M (10 marks)
