2nd GRADE INTRODUCING THE BOOK TO THE STUDENTS OF THE 2nd GRADE

ACTIVITY 1 Students form groups of 4 5 and try to find the answers to the following questions. Each group has 15 minutes to find the answers. The group that finishes first starts answering the questions and the other groups stop writing. The group that answers correctly most of the questions is the winner. 1. What is the title of the book? 2. What is the name of the writer? 3. What is the name of the publisher? 4. How many pages are there? 5. How many units are there? 6. How many lessons are there? 7. Is there a contents page? 8. How many appendices are there and what are they about? 9. Which unit is about rubbish, pollution and recycling? 10. Where can you find information about England and London? 11. Which unit talks about communication and body language? 12. Where can you find pictures of interesting gadgets? 13. Which unit talks about famous people? 14. Where can you find different ways of life? 15. Find the picture of the first type of computer. What is it? 16. Which unit talks about fashion and clothes? 17. Where can you find new types of transport? ACTIVITY 2 Each group chooses a unit and is responsible for creating a project based on the units topic during the school year.
