The Festival of Sukkot 2013. Lev. 23: 34. The phrase above is written in Hebrew: .

. Since most of us are somewhat familiar with this festival, well attempt to dig a bit deeper for the hidden truths available for those who diligently seek Him. First, with a numeric value of 502 were connected to Strongs #1319 & #1320 rendered basar, which in a verbal form can mean good news or to bear tidings, while as a noun its basic meaning is flesh. Thus, you could say this festival hints at: Good news for the flesh! How so? We can see this vividly expressed in Is. 52: 7. How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! These good tidings basar are connected with salvation, #3444, , Yeshuw`ah. Ironically, His mission included coming in the flesh, to redeem us in the flesh! YHVH adds another chuckle here when you see the Hebrew letter Mem prefixed in the text, to this word basar, , the Mem indicates from, out of, and womb. Womb of flesh! This is exactly how Yahshua enters the earth. Incidentally, these same letters when arranged: Mem-Shin-Bet-Resh, spell masber, #4866, which describes a birth, the opening of a womb! Isnt that just like YHVH to give you all the revelation you need concerning this festival in just a few words? Curiously, this womb of salvation is seen connecting us to the conversation of Yahshua and Nicodemus re: you must be born again. [Ancient Judaism celebrated several rituals which marked the stages of the Jewish life cycle, beginning with birth and circumcision, continuing on to ordination and various levels of Jewish leadership, culminating in the death of that individual at a ripe age. Nicodemus was in his final stage of such a life cycle] Yahshua is admonishing Nicodemus regarding Ancient Near Eastern Treaty Language regarding being Born Again which provided a renewing of the contract for those Sons who would be adopted into the Covenant! Incidentally, the Greek rendering of Nicodemus is: Conqueror of the People, while many scholars believe its Hebrew origin to be from #5355, naqiy innocent and #1818, dam, blood Innocent Blood! How apropos Yahshua The

I.

Conqueror, of His People, must have His innocent blood Shed, in order for you and I to be born again. Quite Telling! This sounds intriguing, but how does the Festival of Tabernacles/Sukkot reveal such? Another clue is embedded here also! The latter part of the verse (Is. 52: 7) declares this message is spoken unto Zion , leTsiyown, #6726, Tsiyown, means parched place, a fortress, as well as, a road mark, guidepost, a sign. (Our English word sign comes from this root). We also have a term in horticulture pronounced the same, which indicates the place where a branch is grafted into the stock! THE PLACE OF UNITY! Jn. 15: 5. This is first seen in Gen. 2: 21, where the very root stem above Lamed-Tzade, seen in reverse, TzadeLamed-Alef, #6763, tsela`, rib (Of Adam) can be translated, side and also, a masc. noun meaning to fall or slip, to be overtaken, and as a verb, to limp, to be lame as in Gen. 32: 31 where Jacob halts upon his thigh! Eve is born out of Adam, who slips and is overtaken Jacob wrestles and is twisted into ONE with, the Malak-Angel-KING and is born again when the hand is placed under the thigh Covenant Language! We are grafted in born out of the Vine, #1612, , which, incidentally, has a gematria of 133 (Ps. 133:1). How coincidental that Sukkot is known as: The Gathering of the Nations! The Union of Vine and Branches! Back to Sukkot: This final 7th month festival the month of Sevens, #7651, sheba`, is from the root Shava, which means to swear, adjure or take an oath. A fascinating thing about the sacrifices during Sukkot (Tabernacles) is that when the offerings are grouped or counted, their number always remains divisible by seven. During the week, there are 182 sacrifices (70 bullocks, 14 rams, and 98 lambs; 7 divides into 182 exactly 26 times). Add to this the meal offerings, 336 tenths of ephahs of flour (48 x 7) (Numbers 29:12-40). It is no coincidence that this seven-day holiday, which takes place at the height of the seventh month, had the perfect number, seven, imprinted on its sacrifices. Sukkot also is associated with the Tribe of Ephraim, and the constellational sign of Mozenim/Libra/Scales: #3976, , scales, and balances, from #239, azan, to weigh, test, and prove. It is cognate with #241, ozen, meaning EAR! By the way, the Sukkah is built so that one can see the stars. Wonder why? The faculty of hearing is developed during the 7th month of pregnancy! Lets look at the word

Ephraim, #669, , double ash-heap or doubly fruitful. As we break it apart, it becomes a prophetic representation of the Bitter Waters of Jealousy test mentioned in Numbers 5. The root Alef-Pey-Resh is rendered ash and is etymologically similar to the word for dust. The Yod-Mem root, Yam, hints at waters heaped a miqveh! Sukkot is the festival of water. Every mitzvah of the Sukkot observance is drenched with water. Sukkot marks the start of the rainy season in Israel, when we surround ourselves with all sorts of objects that remind us of water. At the climax, on Shmini Atzeret, we begin the year's prayers for rain! And of course, we have the Water Libation Ceremony where a special Priest carries water each day and pours it out as an offering, culminating on the 7th day with the dual pouring of wine and water together. As each of the party reached their respective gates, a trumpet (shofar) was blown. Then one man would stand up and play the flute (the flute represents the Messiah). The flute player is called "the pierced one." The flute is pierced, and Yahshua was pierced during the crucifixion (Psalm 22:16; Zechariah 12:10; John 19:34-37; Revelation 1:7). The water of the miqveh is designed to ritually cleanse a person from deeds of the past. The convert is considered by Jewish law to be like a newborn child. By spiritually cleansing the convert, the miqveh water prepares him or her to confront YHVH, life, and people with a fresh spirit and new eyes--it washes away the past, leaving only the future. Hosea 6:3 tells us that the coming of the Messiah will be as the former and latter rain on the earth. It is no accident that Yahshua is born out of the womb of Mary Mir-yam (Rebellious Waters) in order to bring Living Waters, Mayim Chayim, and another name for the Ritual Miqveh! Sukkot is a picture of the restoration and rebirth of all Israel and is wonderfully depicted in Is. 35: 1 10. We see a reference to Zion the parched place becoming fruitful again, the ears ozenim being opened, the waters Mayim breaking out, during the Season of our JOY Simchah!
