FPGA Architecture group in Xilinx plays a central role in development of next generation FPGA architectures combining many aspects of Advanced Technology, Ci rcuit Design, Timing and Tools 2. This group was instrumental in architecting the 20nm FPGA family and the 7 se ries FPGA family, including the 2.5D stacked silicon interconnects technology ba sed FPGA families 3. The group in Xilinx Hyderabad contributes to FPGA family definition across th e board with significant ownership of low cost FPGA definition, and works step i n step with Xilinx HQ 4. We are looking for talented individuals at a senior levels for hands on work that includes usage of state-of-the-art tools and flows in both hardware and sof tware domains for FPGAs Typical Tasks 1. Analyze various tradeoffs in developing an FPGA architecture that meets marke t requirements: - Examples: Implications to design, software, testability, manufacturability, pe rformance, power, cost, yield 2. Help architect new features and feature enhancements in interconnect, clockin g, configuration, logic, memory and DSP fabric and all other aspects of the FPGA architecture 3. Circuit design on industry leading process nodes as required for architectura l analysis, test chip design et al. 4. Digital logic design (Verilog/VHDL) to capture architecture definition and ma naging benchmark designs 5. Implement challenging designs in FPGA tool flow in help achieve timing closur e, or estimate possible performance on new architectures, given intimate knowled ge of the FPGA architecture 6. Datamining from FPGA benchmark designs using internal FPGA software tools to generate insights about feature usage leading to architecture enhancements Job Requirements Job Requirements 1. Bachelor?s in EE and at least 10 years of relevant experience OR Master?s in EE and at least 8 years of relevant experience 2. VLSI CMOS circuit design and logic design on advanced process nodes 3. HDL languages (Verilog/VHDL) 4. Scripting languages (Tcl, Perl)

5. Familiarity with FPGA architectures and tool flow 6. Good knowledge of system architecture in various end markets (Wired/Wireless/ Automotive etc) is a plus 7. Good oral and written communication skills are essential, the job tends to be highly interactive 8.
