THE BIBLE FORMULA

BY RICHARD JORDAN, DR. GAIL RIPLINGER AND DR. PETER RUCKMAN
RICHARD JORDAN, Is the Bible Truly Trustworthy? GRACE JOURNAL, Number 62 (22 - 2), pp. 5 7.

IN OUR HANDS As we have said, the above evidence is objective corroboration that the Bible is in fact what it claims to be the very Word of God. The fulfilment of just this one predictive prophecy (which, in reality, could be multiplied many times) with such specificity leaves no doubt as to its supernatural nature and "other worldly" quality. But what about the Bible we actually hold in our hands today? We do not have the original writings of Micah or other Bible writers. Even if we did, few of us could actually read them. Thus the question is in order: Does the Bible we actually possess today also have a similar "other worldliness"? Two things would be necessary: First, the Bible would need to be preserved through history unto our day. Then we would also need it to be placed into our language in something more than a naturalistic manner. Space does not offer the opportunity here delve at length into either of these issues. Let me just say that verses like Isaiah 30:8 assure us of God's intention that His Word be preserved in written form. Then we learn from passages like Matthew 22:31 or I Timothy 5:18 that translations are still considered God's Word even after they are translated. So, a faith-based viewpoint would be that God's Word is in fact findable and knowable in our day and that when it is translated it is still the Word of God. But how can we find God's Word in our language? How can we know the Bible we have in our possession is that authoritative, supernatural Word of God? Why not permit the Bible you are using to testify for itself? For example, if your Bible has "it is written in Isaiah" in Mark 1:2, rather than "in the prophets," it is mistaken. Check and see for yourself that the quotes in Mark 1:2 and 3 are from Malachi 3:1 and Isaiah 40:3. The quote in Mark 1:2 is not, nor has it ever been, in Isaiah. This reading is simply in error. A Bible reading "Isaiah" in Mark 1:2 is not infallible nor is it inerrant. You can see that for yourself. This is the fundamental starting point that draws us to the King James Bible as the Word of God in our language. Then, as to the translation, there is a phenomena found in the King James Bible that demonstrates that as a translation it has that "other worldly" quality we noted above. A Christian Filipino mathematician, Periander A. Esplana, published an amazing work along this line. He calls it The Bible Formula. Here is an example of how it works: There is an incredible correlation between the first and last verses of the KJB. Count the letters, the vowels and the consonants in Genesis 1:1 and Revelation 22:21. You will discover that both verses have exactly the same results: Letters: 44 Vowels: 17 Consonants: 27 There are similar phenomena that have been discovered in the Hebrew and Greek texts. Here is a demonstration that the same type thing is found uniquely in the English text of the KJB. Other languages where the proper text has been properly translated will have their own examples that the "other worldliness" of the originals has been carried over into the translation. Periander adds one more element to the equation: I John 5:7 is widely considered to be spurious, being omitted from new versions out of hand. Since this is one of the strongest Trinitarian verses in Scripture, it is interesting to note its "hidden" relationship to the KJB's first and last verses the "alpha and omega" of the KJB. Counting the letters, vowels and consonants in I John 5:7 we come to the following totals: Letters: 88 Vowels: 34 Consonants: 54 Perchance you have already noticed the correlation. The number of letters, vowels and consonants in I John 5:7 is the exact sum of those in Genesis 1:1 and Revelation 22:21! Perhaps this isn't "manuscript evidence" for the critically minded, but it is amazing nonetheless for the heart of faith. Such "other worldliness" is found in no other English translation. We do not rest our faith only in such evidence, of course, but it certainly does support our confidence in the KJB as God's Word for English speaking people. One more point: If you count the words in Genesis 1:1 you will find 10, while Revelation 22:21contains a total of 12 words. At first this seems not to fit until you count the number of words in I John5:7 and discover that total to be 22 (10+12)! In Scripture, 10 is associated with the Gentiles just as 12 is with the nation Israel. Moreover, 22 in Scripture is associated with spiritual revelation, light and understanding. In other words, spiritual light/understanding is available for both Israel and the Gentiles through the Word of God, and is available for English speaking people in a unique way in the King James Bible. Publications, Corp., 2008), pp. 1181 1184 Consider the Sparrows Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. Luke 12:6, 7 www.sciencephilosophyreligion.com

The following analysis is for your consideration. God tells us that the very hairs of our heads are all numbered. A sparrow does not fall to the ground without his attention. Hairs and sparrows both fall from their place unnoticed by us, but marked by God. How much more would he attend to the most important tangible thing on earth the Holy Bible, the repository of his very words. He has presented it in various letterforms, such as Hebrew, Roman, Greek, Chinese, Arabic, and other alphabets. Even words within our Roman alphabet have been represented by various spellings. Christ can be spelled Christus in German and Christo in Italian. The English Bible before Wycliffe spelled begotten as bigetn pronounced begetten. The living quality of the word adapts to its living receptors. Even in the midst of this and other varieties, Gods haircounting care evidences itself. No doubt myriads of miraculous phenomenon can be observed by someone who will pause and pray. Jesus said that if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God (John 11:40). For example, the word sin occurs 447 times in the King James Bible. The word blood occurs 477 times in the King James Bible. Gods math is perfect because without shedding of blood is no remission of sin (Heb. 9:22). The following miraculous phenomenon was discovered some years ago by Periander A. Esplana, a Christian from Camarines Norte, Philippines. It may be, perhaps, Gods way of confounding the wise and prudent, who suggest that the Trinity of 1 John 5:7 does not belong in the Bible. From the following we can draw no other conclusions than that the Holy Bible, even in one of its many forms, reveals the glory of God. There are no books in the world, let alone other English Bible versions, or do-it-yourself translations from Greek and Hebrew lexicons (done by bible schools students), that will exhibit this: Example I This example is just for the FIRST VERSE and the LAST VERSE of the King James Bible. (Who knows what lies in between!) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Gen. 1:1 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Rev. 22:21 Count the number of letters in the first verse of the KJB _______44______ Count the numbers of letters in the last verse of the KJB_______44______ Count the number of vowels in the first verse of the KJB_______17______ Count the number of vowels in the last verse of the KJB _______17______ Count the number of consonants in the first verse of the KJB ___27______ Count the number of consonants in the last verse of the KJB ____27______ Jesus Christ is the Word. He also said, I am Alpha and Omega (letters), the first and the last: and What thou seest, write in a book (Rev. 1:11). Example II One of the most important verses in the Holy Bible is 1 John 5:7. It distinguishes the Christian religion from all false religions (The chapter ends saying, This is the true God). This verse identifies the Trinity and states that Jesus is God. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one. 1 John 5:7 Because this verse is so important, it has been removed in new versions and was removed by the Greek Orthodox church from almost all Greek manuscripts. It is in all pure vernacular Bibles. Jesus is not only the first and the last, he is in the midst of the New Testament in 1 John 5:7 (Matt. 14:24, 25; 18:2; Luke 5:19, 6:8, 9; 24:36 Jesus himself stood in the midst. John 8:9, 8:59; 18:19 Jesus in the midst, 20:19; 20:26. Count the number of letters in the first verse of the KJB Count the numbers of letters in the last verse of the KJB Count the number of letters in 1 John 5:7 in the KJB 44 + 44 88

When the letters in the first and last verse are totaled, they equal the same number of letters in 1 John 5:7. Count the number of vowels in the first verse of the KJB Count the number of vowels in the last verse of the KJB Count the number of vowels in 1 John 5:7 in the KJB 17 + 17 34

When the number of vowels in the first and last verse are totaled, they equal the number of vowels in 1 John 5:7. Count the number of consonants in the first verse of the KJB Count the number of consonants in the last verse of the KJB Count the number of consonants in 1 John 5:7 in the KJB 27 + 27 54

The number of consonants in the first and last verse equals the same number of consonants in 1 John 5:7. Example III As if the fact that the first and last verses of the Bible match identically were not enough, (and they also match 1 John 5:7), it gets more interesting. First verse letters = Last verse letters = Total First verse vowels = Last verse vowels = Total First verse consonants = Last verse consonants = Total 44 44 88 17 17 34 27 27 54

www.sciencephilosophyreligion.com

First verse words = Last verse words = Words in 1 John 5:7 = Total 22

10 12 22

Therefore, the total letters, consonants, vowels, and words in 1 John 5:7 equal the total of those in the first and the last verses in the Holy Bible. And some need a man-made lexicon to check what?...when Jesus Christ, the first and the last is also in the midst? The two verses most often used in a discussion of the Bibles inspiration are parallel. All scripture is given by inspiration of God (2 Tim. 3:16) holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost (2 Peter 1:21). The words parallel: moved by the Holy Ghost given by inspiration of God. Download link:

P. S. Ruckman, A Mathematical Bomb for Cloned Robots, Bible Believers Bulletin, Vol.33, No.6, (Pensacola: Bible Baptist Church, June, 2009), p.13.
Now, do you want a bomb to put in your pocket to shut the mouths of these stupid idiots who deny the four Scriptural truths written in the scripture of truth (Dan. 10:21). Well, here it is; it is delivered by a Filipino Christian who came out of Manila. This is Periander Aban Esplana, who was 35 years old when he wrote it. His work is called The Bible Formula. Bro. Esplanas AV 1611 Mathematical Formula turns out to be another one of several hundred advanced revelations that were totally missed by A. T. Robertson, Kenneth Wuest, J. Vernon McGee, Billy Graham, Jerry Falwell, Charles Stanley, Tim LaHaye, Charles Hodge, Stewart Custer, Harold Willmington, Robert Sumner, Bob Ross, Donald Waite, James White, C. S. Lewis, Spiros Zodhiates, Kurt Aland, Bruce Metzger, J. R. Dummelow, Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown, Adam Clarke, Campus Crusade, Youth for Christ, the 700 Club, the PTL Club, the last six Popes, Erwin Nestle, Tischendorf, Trench, Thayer, Kittle, Gesenius, Delitzsch, and twenty theological Seminaries. The formula is as follows: A. At the beginning of the Bible in Genesis 1:1 10 words, 44 letters, 17 vowels, and 27 consonants IN ENGLISH, not ANY Hebrew manuscript. B. At the end of the Church Age in 1 John 5:7 22 words, 88 letters, 34 vowels, and 54 consonants IN ENGLISH, not ANY Greek manuscript. C. At the end of the Bible in Revelation 22:21 12 words, 44 letters, 17 vowels, and 27 consonants IN ENGLISH, not in ANY Greek manuscript. The AV 1611 Mathematical Formula is as follows: A-44 plus C-44 equals B-88 A-17 plus C-17 equals B-34 A-27 plus C-27 equals B-54 That is, the WORDS found in Genesis 1:1 added to the WORDS found in Revelation 22:21 (the beginning and the end) are summed up in 1 John 5:7 by the Trinity. The LETTERS found in Genesis 1:1 added to the LETTERS found in Revelation 22:21 produce the total LETTERS in 1 John 5:7. The VOWELS found in Genesis 1:1 added to the VOWELS found in Revelation 22:21 give you the total VOWELS in 1 John 5:7. The CONSONANTS found in Genesis 1:1 added to the CONSONANTS found in Revelation 22:21 equal those CONSONANTS found in 1 John 5:7. Got it? Explain it. Not one Hebrew or Greek manuscript found in 2,000 years displays that mathematical miracle.

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the Scriptures: 1Cor.15:1-4

When I say Christianity is true I mean it is true to total reality the total of what is, beginning with the central reality, the objective existence of the personalinfinite God. Christianity is not just a series of truths but Truth Truth about all of reality. And the holding to that Truth intellectually and then in some poor way living upon that Truth, the Truth of what is brings forth not only certain personal results, but also governmental and legal results. - Francis A. Schaeffer (1912-1984)
(The Complete Works of Francis A. Schaeffer: A Christian Worldview, Volume 5, A Christian Manifesto, Westchester: Crossway Books, 1982, p. 425)

But Christian apologetics must concentrate on the central concepts of the Christian life and world view as a whole. It will stress rather the unity than the discreteness of a truly Christian theology and a truly Christian philosophy. It will make use of the main concepts of a true Christian theology and a true Christian philosophy, combining them for its own purposes. What has been said about the relation of theology to philosophy also holds though less obviously so with respect to the relation of theology to science. The Christian religion, as outlined in the first chapter, has a definite bearing on the scientific enterprise. Christianity claims to furnish the presuppositions without which a true scientific procedure is unintelligible. Chief of these presuppositions is the idea of God as expressed in the doctrine of the ontological Trinity. In addition there are the doctrines of creation, of providence, and of Gods ultimate plan with the universe. Christianity claims that the very aim and method of science require these doctrines as their prerequisites. Christian apologetics cannot be indifferent to a system of philosophy or of science which, by its presuppositions and implications, as well as by its open assertions, rejects the doctrine of the ontological Trinity, the doctrine of creation, the doctrine of the fall of man and of his redemption through Christ. On the other hand Christian theology can well afford to offer lend-lease assistance to such systems of philosophy and science as are consistent with these doctrines. - Cornelius Van Til (1895-1987)
(Cornelius Van Til, Christian Apologetics, Phillipsburg: Presbyterian and Reformed Publishing Co., 1976, pp.23-24, 25)

"The New Testament ascribed three distinct but related functions to the Christian Logos which make it possible to speak of Christ as the cosmological Logos, the epistemological Logos, and the soteriological Logos. This is simply another way of saying that Jesus is a necessary condition for the existence of the world, for human knowledge, and for human redemption. Without Jesus, the world would never have come into existence and would not exist now; without Jesus, the human animal would never have become a creature capable of knowledge; and without Jesus, human beings would never have been redeemed from sin. - Ronald Nash
(R.H. Nash, The Word of God and the Mind of Man, Philippsburg: P&R Publishing, 1982, p.66)
The Bible Formula or the Sphere is the ultimate solution to the problems of science, the final answer to the questions of philosophy and the absolute explanation to the mysteries of religion. It is the Formula of formulas that has been long sought throughout the history by scientists, philosophers and religionists around the world. The Formula is the highest attainment of knowledge, the fullest outworking of wisdom and the deepest expression of understanding.
