Since 1930, ENTECH nozzle check valves have provided reliable backflow prevention for the oil, gas, water and process industries. Beginning in 1972, ENTECH has served the nuclear industry with nozzle check valves for containment and commercial process. The ENTECH nozzle check valve is designed to meet the criteria of conventional check valves by allowing forward flow under normal conditions, opening easily, firmly backseating at low velocity and closing on reverse flow with minimal seat leakage. The ENTECH nozzle check valve meets these basic requirements and incorporates these additional features: Non-slamming - valve closes prior to reverse flow Short stroke length reduces closure time and minimizes water hammer Metal-to-Metal seating Conical seating surface is self-aligning and provides tight shut-off Minimum pressure loss with excellent dynamic performance Spring loaded disc design allows mounting in any orientation No scheduled maintenance The ENTECH nozzle check valve is aligned with other Cameron products, leading the field in pipeline and gas production, offshore, onshore, sub-sea, refining and industrial processing.

The DRV-Z Nozzle Check is a small bore valve designed for use in piping systems from 1 in. (25 mm) to 10 in. (250 mm) diameter. This size range allows the use of a simple, streamlined, in-line check design which is quick to respond to changes in velocity.

The DRV-Z design also provides:

Non-Slam Closure Metal Seating Extremely Quick Closure Spring Loaded disc design allows mounting in any orientation Low Pressure Loss No Scheduled Maintenance Size 1 in. (25 mm) through 10 in. (250 mm) ANSI/ASME Classes 150 through 2500 API 3000 through 10,000 Face-to-Face API 6D, Manufacturers Standard, DIN Standard End Connections ANSI/ASME flanges are standard, weld end or other flange end configurations can be provided upon request Other sizes and pressure classes will be considered upon request

The DRV-B(O) Nozzle Check is a large bore valve for use in compressor and pumping stations from 12 in. (300 mm) through 36 in. (900 mm) diameter. In this size range ENTECH incorporates the use of an annular ring design which outperforms other nozzle check valve designs. By utilizing the doughnut shaped annular disc, ENTECH Nozzle Checks are able to minimize the weight (mass) of the disc and has the ability to go from fully open to fully closed in a fraction of a second.

The DRV-B(O) design also provides:

The DRV-BK utilizes the same design concept and features and benefits found in ENTECHs DRV-B(O) design. The only difference is that the DRV-BK is a compact design thus it has shorter Face-to Face and is lighter weight.

The DRV-BK design also provides:
