OVERVIEW
The internal assessment system is a system used for conducting the exam, analyzing the answers, calculating the internal marks based on the performance such attendance ,assignment, calculating the grade based on external and internal exam marks and displaying the result. In this system the student details such as internal and external marks are updated in the database. During the course of the exam, the supervisor monitors the student who writes the exam. The analyzer checks the paper and assigns the marks. The administrator and students can view their results by logging into the system.

1.1 Current System


In the current system, evaluating internal grades of students in the campus is time consuming as well as requires more human effort

1.2 Limitations of the Current System


Only Authorized user can be logged into the website. Students can only view the internal exam internal marks; external exam marks obtained must be hidden. only the corresponding grades in each subject must be displayed

1.3 Proposed System


Proposed system is an application program that provides a comprehensive solution to manage and enhance the internal mark evaluation.

1.4 Objective Of Proposed System


This project mainly include the maintains the external assessment details and internal assessment details of each student in the department. Internal grade are evaluated from the grade obtained by the students for internal exams, seminars, assignment and attendance.

3. External Interface Requirements 3.1.1 User Interfaces


The user interface of this system is simple and can be understood even by inexperienced users. Screen format/Organization The introductory screen will ask for username and password. After verification of the details provided by the user, he will be allowed to access the system and the menus will be displayed. Window format/Organization Each function will lead to another window. The user can switch between windows whenever required. Data formats The data entered by the user will be alphanumeric. End message When there are some errors entering invalid data, error message will be displayed.

3.1.2 Hardware Interfaces


There must be minimum of 128 MB RAM, 40 GB hard disk drive

The operating system used is windows XP or higher version and the database server

4. Performance Requirements
Only one user can access the software at any given time.
