Dear PICQS Members, If you wish to be an AssocRICS, there are two routes to qualification: 1. Associate assessment Most people will demonstrate their competence through this route. Anyone currently gaining experience in their field of practice is eligible to enroll on the Associate qualification. Associate direct entry If you have an RICS-approved qualification or membership of a recognized professional body you will be eligible for this route.

2.

Associate assessment To qualify as an Associate, you will need to demonstrate your competence through a written submission and an online ethics module. Requirements 1. Summary of experience 2,500-word summary of your recent experience demonstrating how you meet both the technical and mandatory competency requirements of your chosen pathway. 2. Case study 2,000-word account of a recent project that demonstrates your technical ability, focusing mainly on the two technical competencies most relevant to your day-to-day work. 3. For step by step guidance on the Associate assessment, please see the Associate Candidate Guide. As a direct entry candidate, youll then be asked to complete an online ethics module to become an Associate member. If you are interested to get an AssocRICS qualification, please send me a direct email so I could guide you.
