The Significance Of Grain, Wine and Oil In The New Covenant

Pastor Yesaya Pariadji, senior pastor of Gereja Tiberias Indonesia (Tiberias Church Indonesia) was visited by Jesus Christ who told him to build
a church based on the anointing oil and holy communion.
Tiberias Church is now the worlds 9th largest church.
Pastor Prince fellowshipped over Sup Bunto (?) or Indonesian ox-tail soup with Pastor Pariadji and relished the dish.
There are many testimonies of how God used to the anointing oil to bring miracles in Tiberias Church.
Examples: an oil-field owned by an Indonesian business man in Russia threatened by the mafia was delivered from the mafia after anointing
oil was sprinkled on the field and now that business man and his oil-filed are prospering; sick and dying people revived and healed; robbers
attempting to smash the screen of car anointed with oil and the ax-head bouncing off, houses anointed with the oil passed on by pillaging
rioters and supernaturally protected; terrorist bombers on the way to bomb a church got them blown up instead when the bomb exploded
prematurely, the church anointed with oil was protected!

Pastor Prince exhorts us not to treat the anointing oil as mere superstition.
Pastor exhorts the Church not to make ordinances out of things which Jesus did not call us to do so AND make superstition what
God called ordinances.
Example: Communion. Many Christians treat this ordinance lightly. However, many Singaporean Christians make buying 4-D
lottery an ordinance!
Pastor Prince also has testimonies on how the anointing oil has worked in his life. Example: He anointed his apartment with oil
(specifically he anointed with oil the Jerusalem stones on one of the apartment walls viz limestone specially imported from Israel)
and it was sold effortlessly and at a very good price which he wanted. Bees which threatened his daughters bedroom could not
penetrate the line in which he had placed the anointing oil and the next day, a string of dead bees was found where the anointing
oil had been placed.
Deuteronomy 7:13-15
13 And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your
grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to
your fathers to give you. 14You shall be blessed above all peoples; there shall not be a male or female barren among you or
among your livestock. 15 And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases
of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you.
The Hebrew word translated into grain in Deuteronomy 7:13 can be understood to be either wheat or barley. Grain is where we
get our bread from.
The word combination: bread, wine and oil, appears many times in the scriptures.
Bread and wine is shorthand for Holy Communion.
The Lord told Pastor Pariadji in a vision that the devil cannot defeat those who believe in Communion and the Oil.
James 5:14-15
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of
the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be
forgiven him.

Deuteronomy 11:3-21
1 Therefore you shall love the LORD your God, and keep His charge, His statutes, His judgments, and His commandments
always. 2 Know today that I do not speak with your children, who have not known and who have not seen the chastening of the
LORD your God, His greatness and His mighty hand and His outstretched arm 3 His signs and His acts which He did in the
midst of Egypt, to Pharaoh king of Egypt, and to all his land; 4 what He did to the army of Egypt, to their horses and their chariots:
how He made the waters of the Red Sea overflow them as they pursued you, and how the LORD has destroyed them to this day; 5
what He did for you in the wilderness until you came to this place; 6 and what He did to Dathan and Abiram the sons of Eliab, the
son of Reuben: how the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, their households, their tents, and all the substance that
was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel 7 but your eyes have seen every great act of the LORD which He did.
8 Therefore you shall keep every commandment which I command you today, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the
land which you cross over to possess, 9 and that you may prolong your days in the land which the LORD swore to give your
fathers, to them and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey. 10 For the land which you go to possess is not like the
land of Egypt from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and watered it by foot, as a vegetable garden; 11 but the land
which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven, 12 a land for which the
LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.
13 And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the LORD your God and
serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, 14 then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and
the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil. 15 And I will send grass in your fields for your
livestock, that you may eat and be filled. 16 Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve
other gods and worship them, 17 lest the LORDs anger be aroused against you, and He shut up the heavens so that there be no
rain, and the land yield no produce, and you perish quickly from the good land which the LORD is giving you.
18 Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they
shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 19 You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house,
when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 20 And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house
and on your gates, 21 that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the LORD swore to your
fathers to give them, like the days of the heavens above the earth.
Deuteronomy 11:4: Rain given so as to gather in the three elements of grain/wine/oil.
The jews take Deuteronomy 11:18 and Deuteronomy 11:20 literally. They therefore have Phylactery and mezuzah where these
verses are kept therein. Actually, Deu 11:18 simply means to commit the words of scripture to memory and meditate on them.
Deuteronomy11:19: You should talk about and teach these words of scripture ALL the time.
Another verse which is kept in phylactery/mezuzah is Deu 6
Deuteronomy 6:1
1 Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which the LORD your God has commanded to teach
you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, 2 that you may fear the LORD your God, to
keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life,
and that your days may be prolonged. 3 Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that
you may multiply greatly as the LORD God of your fathers has promised youa land flowing with milk and honey.
4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! 5 You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your
soul, and with all your strength.
6 And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall
talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind
them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your
house and on your gates.
The signature of Jesus aleph tav
The signature of Jesus aleph tav is in Deu 11:18. aleph tav first and last letters of the Jewish alphabet is the
signature of Jesus in the OT because it corresponds with alpha omega (first and last letters of Greek alphabet) declaration by Jesus
Christ in Revelation I am the Alpha and Omega
Deuteronomy 11:18
Therefore you shall lay up ** these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they
shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
The hebrew alphabets appears in the position of the ** and is not translated into English.
So Deu 11:18 should be understood to mean: lay up Jesus Christ these words of mine in your heart The specific words
that must be committed to the heart are the words of Christ!

Turn to GOD first not doctors
Learn the lesson of King Asa in 2 Chronicles 16:12-13
And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease [was] exceeding [great]: yet in his
disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians. And Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the one and fortieth year of
his reign.
The oil provides heavenly harmony to earthly discord.
The grain/oil/wine combination is also found in Deuteronomy 8
Deuteronomy 8
1 Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe, that you may live and multiply, and go in and
possess the land of which the LORD swore to your fathers. 2 And you shall remember that the LORD your God led you all the way
these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His
commandments or not. 3 So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did
your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that
proceeds from the mouth of the LORD. 4 Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. 5 You
should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the LORD your God chastens you.
6 Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him. 7 For the LORD your
God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; 8 a land
of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; 9 a land in which you will eat bread
without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper. 10 When
you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which He has given you.
11
Beware that you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I
command you today, 12 lestwhen you have eaten and are full, and have built beautiful houses and dwell in them; 13 and when
your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold are multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied; 14 when your
heart is lifted up, and you forget the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage; 15 who
led you through that great and terrible wilderness, in which were fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty land where there was no
water; who brought water for you out of the flinty rock; 16 who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not
know, that He might humble you and that He might test you, to do you good in the end 17 then you say in your heart, My power
and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.
18 And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His
covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. 19 Then it shall be, if you by any means forget the LORD your God, and
follow other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish. 20 As the nations
which the LORD destroys before you, so you shall perish, because you would not be obedient to the voice of the LORD your God.
Deuteronomy 8:8 wheat and barley are used to make bread, vines to produce fine, and olive oil to produce the anointing oil
With these 3 elements, of bread, wine and oil, Deuteronomy 8 goes on to describe how the Children of God shall be blessed but
ends with the exhortation in Deuteronomy 8:18: And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to
get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day
Three-fold Affirmation of Jesus Christ application to Children
If you child misbehaves, tell them their identity in Christ, you are a Jesus boy/girl and Jesus boy/girl dont lie, misbehave, etc
We teach our children by affirming them. Dont give them the Law by saying You should do this or that We call forth what we
want to see in our children. This is the New Covenant instruction.
Jesus was in fact affirmed 3 times: in the womb (Luke 1); at baptism in the Jordan river (Luke 3:22) and at Mt. of Transfiguration
(Luke 9:35).
Mark 6:13
Mark 6:13 And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed [them]. Even in the presence of
Jesus, his disciples were sent out 2 by 2 by him and they anointed with oil the sick to heal them. Mark 6:13 was the verse which
Jesus Christ flashed in the sky to Pastor Pariadji to build his church on.
Why Oil and Communion?
We are people who touch and see. Therefore God helps us to have Faith in Him with physical oil, wine and bread.
Another New Testament Application of Oil/Wine in Luke 10:34
In the story of the Good Samaritan told by Jesus in Luke 10:34, the Good Samaritan treats the wounded man with oil/wine: And
went to [him], and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and
took care of him.
Drinking wine in moderation is good as there is Polyphenol in grape skin which is an antioxidant and is great for combating heart
diseases, cancer, etc.
Numbers 15:1-20 Law of Grain and Drink Offerings
1And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: When you have come into the land you
are to inhabit, which I am giving to you, 3 and you make an offering by fire to the Lord, a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfill a
vow or as a freewill offering or in your appointed feasts, to make a sweet aroma to the Lord, from the herd or the flock, 4 then he
who presents his offering to the Lord shall bring a grain offering of one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one-fourth of a
hin of oil; 5 and one-fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering you shall prepare with the burnt offering or the sacrifice, for each
lamb. 6 Or for a ram you shall prepare as a grain offering two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one-third of a hin of oil; 7
and as a drink offering you shall offer one-third of a hin of wine as a sweet aroma to the Lord. 8 And when you prepare a young
bull as a burnt offering, or as a sacrifice to fulfill a vow, or as a peace offering to the Lord, 9 then shall be offered with the young
bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil; 10 and you shall bring as the drink
offering half a hin of wine as an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.
11 Thus it shall be done for each young bull, for each ram, or for each lamb or young goat. 12 According to the number that you
prepare, so you shall do with everyone according to their number. 13 All who are native-born shall do these things in this manner,
in presenting an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord. 14 And if a stranger dwells with you, or whoever is among you
throughout your generations, and would present an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord, just as you do, so shall he do.
15 One ordinance shall be for you of the assembly and for the stranger who dwells with you, an ordinance forever throughout your
generations; as you are, so shall the stranger be before the Lord. 16 One law and one custom shall be for you and for the stranger
who dwells with you.
17 Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 18 Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: When you come into the land to
which I bring you, 19 then it will be, when you eat of the bread of the land, that you shall offer up a heave offering to the Lord. 20
You shall offer up a cake of the first of your ground meal as a heave offering; as a heave offering of the threshing floor, so shall you
offer it up. 21 Of the first of your ground meal you shall give to the Lord a heave offering throughout your generations.
The grain/oil/wine combination is again found in Numbers 15:1-20. This chapter is a picture of Grace as the Gran and Drink
Offerings are free-will thanksgiving offerings which typify Jesus being accepted and beloved by the Father. Interestingly, this
chapter picturing Grace comes after Numbers 14. Numbers 14 is where God judged the Children of Israel after they rebelled
against Moses/Joshua and refused to go up and possess the Canaan. By placing Numbers 15 immediately after Numbers 14, it is
almost as if the events of Numbers 14 did not take place. This is no doubt because of the work of Jesus as typified in grain/oil/wine
in Numbers 15.
The Teacher of Righteousness
Joel 2:23-27
23 Be glad then, you children of Zion,
And rejoice in the Lord your God;
For He has given you the former rain faithfully,
And He will cause the rain to come down for you
The former rain,
And the latter rain in the first month.
24 The threshing floors shall be full of wheat,
And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.
25 So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten,
The crawling locust,
The consuming locust,
And the chewing locust,
My great army which I sent among you.
26 You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied,
And praise the name of the Lord your God,
Who has dealt wondrously with you;
And My people shall never be put to shame.
27 Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel:
I am the Lord your God
And there is no other.
My people shall never be put to shame.
The Hebrew word translated into former rain is mowreh which can also be understood as: Teacher / an archer.
The Jews liken teachers to rain because a teacher teaches drop by drop like rain or who aims the arrow which is the student in the
right direction. The Hebrew word translated into the English word faithfully in Joel 2:23 can be understood as righteousness.
Thus in the marginal rendering of some bibles, it is stated that the expression teacher of righteousness can be substituted for
former rain faithfully.
In fact, Youngs translation has Joel 2:23 as And ye sons of Zion, joy and rejoice, In Jehovah your God, For He hath given to you
the Teacher for righteousness, And causeth to come down to you a shower, Sprinkling and gathered in the beginning.
Notice God sends the former rain and latter rain to bring about the wheat/wine/oil combination and to redeem what the locusts
have eaten.
Here again, you get the sense, that all you need for life is: the grain/oil/wine.
Hosea 2
Hosa 2:8 reads: For she did not know that I gave her grain, new wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold
Notice, the sequence again, God gave the Israelites, grain/wine/oil, and thereafter silver and gold multiplied. However, in this
case, the Israelites backslidden as they were, gave the silver and gold to Baal.
But God is faithful. In Hosea 2:19-23, He promises:
19 I will betroth you to Me forever;
Yes, I will betroth you to Me
In righteousness and justice,
In lovingkindness and mercy;
20 I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness,
And you shall know the Lord.
21 It shall come to pass in that day
That I will answer, says the Lord;
I will answer the heavens,
And they shall answer the earth.
22 The earth shall answer
With grain,
With new wine,
And with oil;
They shall answer Jezreel.
23 Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth,
And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy;
Then I will say to those who were not My people,
You are My people!
And they shall say, You are my God!
Grain/wine/oil is revived because of Jesus work on the Cross.
Jezreel: God planted or sowed [in Hebrew].
Hosea 2:22 The earth answers God with grain, new wine and oil!

Zech 4:1
1 Now the angel who talked with me came back and wakened me, as a man who is wakened out of his sleep. 2 And he said to me,
What do you see?
So I said, I am looking, and there is a lampstand of solid gold with a bowl on top of it, and on the stand seven lamps with seven
pipes to the seven lamps. 3 Two olive trees are by it, one at the right of the bowl and the other at its left. 4 So I answered and
spoke to the angel who talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?
5 Then the angel who talked with me answered and said to me, Do you not know what these are?
And I said, No, my lord.
6 So he answered and said to me:
This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,
Says the Lord of hosts.
7 Who are you, O great mountain?
Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!
And he shall bring forth the capstone
With shouts of Grace, grace to it!
Power of Oil/Holy Spirit illustrated Zech 4:1-7. Oil issues forth from olive trees.
Rev 6:5-6
5 When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, Come and see. So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and
he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A quart of
wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.
As you can see from the above passage, barley in even Jesus day was poor mans food.
Why mention of wheat/barley and oil/wine in Rev 6:5-6? There will always be bread/oil/wine for Christians to use in the Last
Days in obeying Gods ordinance for applying the anointing oil and having holy communion.
Pastor Prince makes the observation that in the book of Revelation the unit of currency is: dinari.
Purely as a matter of conjecture, he notes that some of the oil-producing countries in the Middle East use the: dinar. Perhaps, the
currencies of these countries will appreciate exponentially vis-a-vis other currencies in the future? Pastor stresses again that this is
not a prophetic word. Just thinking aloud.
Nevertheless, worthy for consideration for those who are gifted in the area of currency investment.
Editors Note: I discovered that it is a minority of Middle Countries that use the dinar presently. Those that do, include: Iraq and
Libya (where SM Goh recently visited to firm up investment ties). Interestingly, Iraq is where a rebuilt Babylon will feature
prominently in the End Days. Perhaps fueled by a strong Dinar?
