ICC PARTNERS
ICC has partnered with over 25 professional bodies, 100 cancer institutions and about 10 international associations involved in cancer care. This affiliation will strengthen the purpose of the ICC to reach out to all involved in the fight against cancer in different ways. This will pave the way for a new dawn in the Indian cancer landscape. We hope that these collaborations will go beyond this conference and strengthen the movement to win over cancer.

...invitation to one of the most empowering gatherings you will ever attend
Dear Friends, Greetings! The organizing committee of the first Indian Cancer Congress (ICC) takes great pleasure in inviting you to this unique conference jointly organized by the top four oncology associations of the country viz. Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI), Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO), Indian Society of Medical and Pediatric Oncology (ISMPO) and Indian Society of Oncology (ISO). These four associations are also having their annual / biennial meetings jointly here. The ICC is planned to be a four yearly event. The members of 'Oncology Forum' of Delhi are honored by the responsibility and trust bestowed on them to host this event. At the ICC, experts from surgical, medical and radiation oncology would be joining forces with radiologists, pathologists, scientists, physicists and ancillary service providers like oncology nurses, technicians, paramedics etc. to comprehensively address all aspects of cancer care. Every aspect, from prevention to palliation including psycho oncology would be addressed. Patients, care givers, advocacy groups, NGOs etc. would also get an opportunity to share the platform with policy makers to make sure that, at the centre of this whole exercise is the unknown cancer patient. This congress will underscore the power of collaboration with the coming together of not just the top four oncology associations but 25 other affiliate partners engaged in different aspects of cancer care. In recent times we have realized that collaborations pay rich dividends, you give in a bit to gain much more ground together. This congress could mark the beginning of a revolution! The ICC has done a roadshow in the past 6 months, visited government institutions, regional cancer centres, research labs etc. It has been our own 'Discovery of India'. We can only marvel at the hundreds of basic sciences labs, engaged in research on cancer and over 250 comprehensive cancer services run by cohesive clinical teams. Besides this, there are hundreds of NGOs, advocacy groups, and rehabilitation services redefining humanity. We foresee a spectacular display of posters and paper presentations showcasing some original research from these very institutes. This is where the future lies! We have already confirmed over 100 international faculty. Over 300 leaders from across the country have worked together to create a very exciting scientific program. The success of this conference will be measured by the level of debates and deliberations and by the impact it makes on established institutions across the country. Every thought, every poster, every presentation will have the power to start a new journey. On 20th November, preconference workshop will provide hands on training and close interaction with world leaders on nuances of techniques. We also invite you to take a walk through 'ONCOTECH', our elaborate display of all that it takes to set up a comprehensive cancer facility 'from concept to inauguration'. We believe that, your active participation here would help sow the seeds for many more 'dream cancer centres'. In this journey of over 2 years, we are inspired by the response and unconditional support we are getting from across the country. If you are inspired by the daunting challenge of cancer as an undergraduate or a post graduate student of medicine or any other science, as a medical professional or researcher, as a survivor or a care giver, or, if you can influence policy making - this conference is for you. See you on 20th November 2013 in Delhi! Thanks and Regards,
