ROS stands for run of site, meaning that an ads placement may appear on any site page.
CPM means cost per 1000 impressions. Impression is a term to describe each instance an ad appears on a site page for a single user. For example, if you want your ad to appear 700,000 times at a CPM rate of $5, the total cost will be $3,500:
DISCOUNTS
Pitchfork offers discounts on multiple ad agreements. For every three ads placed, theres a 5 percent discount applied to the overall total. (Three months of ads are discounted at 5 percent; six months discounted at 10 percent; nine months discounted at 15 percent; and 12 months discounted at 20 percent.) Pre-payment in full receives an additional 5 percent off.
2008
ARTWORK DEADLINE
The deadline for artwork is three days prior to desired campaign launch. For inventory purposes, its necessary to place reservations at least two weeks before desired start date.
PAYMENT DEADLINE
Unless other arrangements have been made, payment is due no later than 30 days after the conclusion of the scheduled ad campaign. After a payment becomes 31 days past due a 1.5% late fee is charged to the unpaid account, and accrues each month (30 days) for unpaid accounts.
