My Grand mother is the best I just found out that my grandmother is in the hospital and is going to have surgery. She is frail but she chose this surgery instead of being in a wheelchair the rest of her life. I would have done the same thing. She is so far away from me and I can't be with her so I am going to share a story about her with you from my childhood. My grandmother is the best at everything. She is the best wife, mother, cook, confidant. Just the best. In her younger days she used to bake from scratch. She made the best pound cakes you have ever put in your mouth. When I was little she would just take the pound cake out of the oven and while is was sitting there cooling, I would sneak in and eat the top off of it because it was the buttery part and so good.
