-. The first thing you need to do when you take your SQUAWKERS McCAW parrot out of the box is to insert batteries in the Remote Control. (SQUAWKERS McCAW comes packaged with batteries included.)

Use a Philliprlcross head screwdriver (not included) to loosen the s c r e w in the battery compartment cwer (screwstays attached to cover). Remwe cover. Insert 2 x 15V "AAA" or R03 size batteries (not induded). Alkaline batteries recommended. Revf --cover and tighten screw.
CAUTION:
1. As with all small baperies, the batteries used with this toy should be kept away from who still put things in their mouths.
