SYNOPSIS This course is a continuation of Separation Processes I CBE582. The topics comprise of fluid-solid separation principles, membrane separation processes and mechanicalphysical separation principles. The students will be exposed to various unit operations related to the topics, and the basic principles and calculations will also be introduced. In addition, special topics on bioseparation and crystallization process are included. OBJECTIVES Upon completion of this course, students should be able to: 1. 2. 3.
