Barclay Wins Week 4 Football Contest

TIPTON Cody Barclay of Durant was the winner of the fourth week of the Tipton Conservative Football Contest. Barclay nearly picked all 16 games correct, missing only the Minnesota Vikings loss to the Cleveland Browns. Two entries missed two games. They were Wes Miller of Clarence and Brian Eichelberger of Clarence. Both missed the Vikings game while Miller missed the Bears win over the Steelers and Eichelberger missed Marylands win over West Virginia. Since the two tied, the tiebreaker score was used to award second place. Miller chose 47 while Eichelberger chose 52. The tiebreaking score was the combined score of the North Cedar-Durant game which was 41. Thus, Miller, having picked the closer score, was the runner-up this week. 30 of the 31 entries missed the Cleveland Browns win over the Minnesota Vikings and was the most missed game this past week. Matt Hills of West Branch was the only entry to correctly pick that game.
