Sword of Allah by A.I Akram 2. The Sealed Nectar by Saifurrahman al-Mubarakpuri 3. Abu Hanifah: His Life, Legal Method and Legacy by Akram Nadwi 4. The Qur'an and the Orientalists by Muhamed Mohar Ali 5. Let Us be Muslims by Mawlana Abu'l Ala Mawdudi 6. Milestones By Sayed Qutb 7. The Islamic State by Taqiuddin An-Nabhani 8. The prisoners of Malta (asiran-e-Malta) by Syed Mohammed Mian 9. Islam and Modernism by Maryam Jameelah 10. Enemy Combatant by Moazzam Beg Rules: Must be recent, by contemporary authors and available in english. No discussion until later.. continue from 11.. Can we please stick to contemporary books, because if we start listing the classical books we could take the list to thousands. I just think its more appropriate that we just include basic english written books which others searching for books may stumble accorss and benifet from Ummah forums shortlist of 100 great books which they can just pick up and read rather than those requiring supervision and scholarly insight to be understood. Recent translation and simplified versions are fine I think. Last edited by Salman Al-Farsi; 30-11-10 at 06:20 PM.
