M107 Introduction to Computers Course Description Course Objectives: The primary objective of this course is to familiarize the student with basic concepts of information technology and their applications to business processes. Learning Outcomes After the completion of course the learner must: Be capable of recognizing the basic computer elements and have knowledge of computer hardware. Develop an understanding of computer programming and how the operations are performed. Have exposure of various types of operating systems and how tasks are performed in each. Be familiarized with the basic principles of data communication and the network systems. Develop an ability to explore internet and its applications.
