About Quran (the Revelation)

40:2 Tanzeelu alkitabi mina Allahi alAAazeezi alAAaleemi The revelation of the Book (this Qur'n) is from Allh the All-Mighty, the All-Knower. 3:103 WaiAAtasimoo bihabli Allahi jameeAAan wala tafarraqoo waothkuroo niAAmata Allahi AAalaykum ith kuntum aAAdaan faallafa bayna quloobikum faasbahtum biniAAmatihi ikhwanan And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allh (i.e. this Qur'n), and be not divided among yourselves, and remember Allh's Favour on you, for you were enemies one to another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His Grace, you became brethren (in Islmic Faith) 39:28 Qur-anan AAarabiyyan ghayra thee AAiwajin laAAallahum yattaqoona An Arabic Qur'n, without any crookedness (therein) in order that they may avoid all evil which Allh has ordered them to avoid, fear Him and keep their duty to Him.

18:1 Alhamdu lillahi allathee anzala AAala AAabdihi alkitaba walam yajAAal lahu AAiwajan All the praises and thanks be to Allh, Who has sent down to His slave (Muhammad SAW) the Book (the Qur'n), and has not placed therein any crookedness. 17:106 Waqur-anan faraqnahu litaqraahu AAala alnnasi AAala mukthin wanazzalnahu tanzeelan And (it is) a Qur'n which We have divided (into parts), in order that you might recite it to men at intervals. And We have revealed it by stages. (in 23 years). 6:155 Wahatha kitabun anzalnahu mubarakun faittabiAAoohu waittaqoo laAAallakum turhamoona And this is a blessed Book (the Qur'n) which We have sent down, so follow it and fear Allh (i.e. do not disobey His Orders), that you may receive mercy (i.e. saved from the torment of Hell). 81:19 Innahu laqawlu rasoolin kareemin Verily, this is the Word (this Qur'n brought by) a most honourable messenger [Jibrael (Gabriel), from Allh to the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)]. 73:4 Aw zid AAalayhi warattili alqur-ana tarteelan Or a little more; and recite the Qur'n (aloud) in a slow, (pleasant tone and) style. 27:92 Waan atluwa alqur-ana famani ihtada fa-innama yahtadee linafsihi waman dalla faqul innama ana mina almunthireena And to recite the Qur'n, so whosoever receives guidance, receives it for the good of his ownself, and whosoever goes astray, say (to him): "I am only one of the warners. 30:17 Fasubhana Allahi heena tumsoona waheena tusbihoona So glorify Allh [above all that (evil) they associate with Him (O believers)], when you come up to the evening [i.e. offer the (Maghrib) sunset and ('Ish') night prayers], and when you enter the morning [i.e offer the (Fajr) morning prayer]. 30:18 Walahu alhamdu fee alssamawati waal-ardi waAAashiyyan waheena tuthhiroona And His is all the praises and thanks in the heavens and the earth, and (glorify Him) in the afternoon (i.e. offer 'Asr prayer) and when you come up to the time, when the day begins to decline (i.e offer Zuhr prayer). (Ibn 'Abbs said: "These are the five compulsory congregational prayers mentioned in the Qur'n)." 17:79 Wamina allayli fatahajjad bihi nafilatan laka AAasa an yabAAathaka rabbuka maqaman mahmoodan And in some parts of the night (also) offer the Salt (prayer) with it (i.e. recite the Qur'an in the prayer), as an additional prayer (Tahajjud optional prayer Nawfil) for you (O Muhammad SAW). It may be that your Lord will raise you to Maqman Mahmda (a station of praise and glory, i.e. the highest degree in Paradise!). 3:7 Huwa allathee anzala AAalayka alkitaba minhu ayatun muhkamatun hunna ommu alkitabi waokharu mutashabihatun faamma allatheena fee quloobihim zayghun fayattabiAAoona ma tashabaha minhu ibtighaa alfitnati waibtighaa ta/weelihi wama yaAAlamu ta/weelahu illa Allahu waalrrasikhoona fee alAAilmi yaqooloona amanna bihi kullun min AAindi rabbina wama yaththakkaru illa oloo al-albabi It is He Who has sent down to you (Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Qur'n). In it are Verses that are entirely clear, they are the foundations of the Book [and those are the Verses of Al-Ahkm (commandments, etc.), Al-Far'id (obligatory duties) and Al-Hudud (legal laws for the punishment of thieves, adulterers, etc.)]; and others not entirely clear. So as for those in whose hearts there is a deviation (from the truth) they follow that which is not entirely clear thereof, seeking Al-Fitnah (polytheism and trials, etc.), and seeking for its hidden meanings, but none knows its hidden meanings save Allh. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in it; the whole of it (clear and unclear Verses) are from our Lord." And none receive admonition except men of understanding. (Tafsir At-Tabar).
