Vocal Passphrase is a groundbreaking biometric technology that defines the modern concept of identity verification. Conventional security systems are based on PINs, passwords and challenge questions which are not only inefficient for growing incidence of fraud and identity theft but also cause waste of time and customer dissatisfaction.
Vocal Passphrase provides secure access to systems through voiceprints of individual users. The individual voice is enrolled to the system once and subsequent calls are authenticated through this voiceprint. The solution can be applied in a variety of flexible ways according to the needs of the customer such as a single layer or an additional layer of security to the standard security procedures. SESTEK Vocal Passphrase is a state-of-the-art technology that is at the upper limits of global standards in terms of accuracy metrics. It differentiates from the competing products in the market in six aspects. First, background noise level is automatically detected via proprietary technology and if the level is too high, the enrollment is rejected and the customer is instructed accordingly. Second, the uttered passphrase is checked through speech recognition technology, which enables the rejection of phrases different from the prompted phrase.

In 2011 SESTEK Vocal Passphrase was deployed at the AVEA Call Center, one of the leading GSM operators in Turkey. AVEA has a nationwide customer base of 12.8 million as of the first quarter of 2012. Offering services to 98% of Turkey's population through its next generation network, the company is growing fast both in the corporate and individual services with the brand "AVEA" and constantly investing in technology and infrastructure as well as its organizational structure. Before the implementation of Vocal Passphrase, AVEA Call Center used to verify identities of customers via a manual agent-assisted security procedure. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
For ideal modeling, passphrase recordings must be collected in two sessions. In the first session 200 passphrase recordings of distinct people are collected (half from fixed line from three different phones and half from mobile line from three different phones) and in the second session 100 people from the same group of 200 people generate 100 passphrase recordings (again half from fixed line from three different phones and half from mobile line from three different phones). Passphrase recordings are comprised of 5 repetitions of a fixed passphrase such as my voice is my password uttered to the IVR on the phone number provided by SESTEK. Vocal Passphrase product uses SESTEK License Service. Licensing is usage-based. Each successful enrollment and authentication is charged. If a voiceprint is deleted and recreated for the same user, it is counted as a distinct enrollment.

Call + 9 0 212 276 25 45 for English. Call + 9 0 850 250 01 55 for Arabic. Dial any 6-digit account number which will be your user code and follow the instructions of the IVR. The IVR will ask you to repeat this utterance three times: My voice is my password. Utter the sentence to the headset (do not use speaker phone). After this step your voiceprint is defined and enrollment process is successfully done. If you continue with the authentication (by pressing 1) or if you make another call typing the same account number, you will utter the passphrase once and the system will recognize you from your voiceprint.
