English for Civil Engineering has been written for use in compulsory English courses at the
Faculty of Civil Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague. This is the second,
revised edition of the textbook. Its main focus is on the terminology of the civil engineering
fields and branches taught at FCE.
The paperback textbook is accompanied by electronic quizzes and interactive practice
material offered online. Designed as feedback, they give students an opportunity to leam at
their own pace and to test their knowledge of newly acquired language means.
