Samvedhana contact with an object; bhavana the object was in the past, now only its thought is coming; vasana the thought of the object is creating a desire to obtain it; kalana the deep imprint of the desire exists in the mind causing pain. When the "Laws of Nature" came into existence, the universe came into existence. They created the universe and determined its size. When the "Laws" end, the universe ends. Purity of thought & deed Purity is stressed in every religion. As a matter of fact, there cannot be any form of spiritual life without purity in some form or the other. It is the sign of all spiritual endeavors. Swami Vivekananda has said that blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Of the three virtues which Swami Vivekananda considered the most important for

success, purity is one. Truth, purity and unselfishness wherever these are present, there is no power below or above the sun to crush the possessor thereof. Equipped with these, one individual is able to face the whole universe in opposition. Or again, purity, patience, and perseverance are the three essentials to success, and above all love. These were not mere words with Swami Vivekananda. He had practised such a high degree of purity that it could move the world. When we practise Dharma or righteousness, the Divinity in us will manifest itself spontaneously. One should not limit Dharma to mere words. Man is regarded as the very embodiment of righteousness. But he will not be worthy of this appellation if he does not lead a life of Dharma. Everyone should realize that to attain oneness with Divinity is the goal of human life. Hence it is everyone's duty to develop faith in the Divine. With the growth of faith, if one leads a life devoted to Dharma, Sathya and Neethi (Righteousness, Truth and Justice), he will be achieving the purpose of life.
