Application RV 280 non return valves are for use as an independent means of preventing reverse water flow. They can be used for commercial, industrial or similar water supply systems where reverse flow of water must be prevented. The classifications of safety devices to meet these requirements are specified in DIN 1988, Part 4. Non return valve RV 280

Method of Operation Spring loaded non return valves have a moving seal disc which is lifted off the seat by a greater or lesser amount depending on the flow rate through the valve. If the flow falls towards zero, then the spring pushes the disc back onto the seat and seals the waterway. To ensure continuing correct function it is recommended that non return valves be regularly checked and maintained (as specified in DIN 1988 Parts 2 and 8). Options RV 280-. . .
