INSTALLATION AND USAGE

This simple tool converts your elink 1.0 data to be compatible with elink 2.1B software in Windows or Mac. Before installing this tool in Windows OS or Mac ensure that you have the latest elink 2.1B software installed on your computer. Please download the latest elink2.0 or above version from www.efergy.com System Requirements elink 2.1B or above software, Adobe Air. Compatible with Mac OS, Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7. - Install/ Run the eLink Converter tools installer package and follow the onscreen steps. - Close the elink converter tool (if it opened after installation) and restart the tool by clicking on the elink converter icon on desktop. IMPORTANT - If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, always start the tool by right-clicking the elink Converter icon on desktop and Run as Administrator. - Click Browse on elink converter tool and locate your elink 1.0 programs data (.CSV file) which can be found in the elink 1.0 program files REPOSITORY folder e.g. C:\Program Files\eLink\Repository\#001.csv - Click Import button on elink converter tool. On successful conversion you will see a message confirming Import Successful. Click Done and exit the elink converter tool. - Ensure that the elink 2.1B program is not running and you have backed up all your previous data in elink 2.1B BEFORE the following step. - Go to elink Converters programs folder and locate the data.db file which can be found in the folder database e.g. C:\Program Files\eLink Converter\database\data.db - Select and copy the data.db file from your elink Converter database folder to your elink 2.1B program folders database folder. Replace the elink 2.1B original data.db file with the new data.db file. Do NOT change, move, edit or delete any other files in elink 2.1B database folder.

- Start your elink 2.1B and your elink 1.0 data should now be visible on elink 2.1B program. - Following the same steps you can also covert your elink 1.0 backed up data. Just locate your elink 1.0 backed up .CSV file and convert to data.db to use in elink 2.1B program.
