The Company Greco Engineering is a young company incorporated with the aim of providing high quality engineering services to industry and develops niche software products in the area of CAD, CAE, CFD & FEM and provides on-site staffing and man power solutions. The company was started by a squad of first generation entrepreneurs, with sound technical and analytical skills. Values The foundation of company is based on developing software applications based on open source libraries. The idea of open source development has also become company philosophy. We believe in sharing and collaborating to build our strength. Open source and blogging show, people enjoy it more and are most effective when they are working on their own thing, instead of doing what they are told. That may be the greatest effect, in the long run, of the forces underlying open source and blogging: finally ditching the old paternalistic employer-employee relationship, and replacing it with a purely economic one, between equals. Paul Graham speaking about company work culture being influenced by open source & blogging Greco work ethics are also based on open source development philosophy. Each member of team works with enthusiasms, with freedom and responsibility. Our competent team uses technical skills, computational power and innovative ideas to provide high quality engineering solutions.

Services Greco engineering offers a spectrum of Computer Aided Engineering services using state of art Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) techniques to assist in the product design, evaluation and optimization leading to efficient design and reduced costs. Further, Greco engineering services in the area of product performance simulation leads to reduction in prototyping and testing costs and time thereby reducing time to market. CFD ANALYSIS Address fluid flow and thermal problems by solving Navier-Stokes equations using the CFD simulation tools such as FLUENT, CFX etc. Steady state and transient Laminar and turbulent flow Compressible and incompressible flow Conjugate heat transfer (conduction, convection and radiation) Flows with multiple phases External (aerodynamics) and Under hood air flow Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning system (HVAC) Engine combustion and coolant system Performance analysis for intake manifold and exhaust port systems for given Operating engine conditions MOLD FLOW SIMULATION Quick fill analysis for calculation of molding parameters Mold flow simulation for component mold ability checks Flow Analysis, Cool, Warpage, and Shrinkage Analysis THERMAL ANALYSIS Steady State Thermal Analysis: Steady-State Thermal Analysis to determine thermal / heat qualities when the thermal loads that do not vary over time Transient Thermal Analysis: Estimation of temperature distribution, heat flux, heat flow, etc. in transient conditions under the influence of heat transfer by conduction / convection / radiation

STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS Static Analyses are undertaken for the following circumstances: Linear Analysis Large deflection, large strain Stress stiffening Plasticity Hyperelasticity for polymeric and biological tissues Visco-elastic and creep Contact analysis Buckling analysis Dynamic Analysis Modal Analysis: Determine natural frequencies and mode shapes of structures for understanding resonance effects and failure modes Harmonic Analysis: Response of a structure to harmonically timevarying loads Transient Dynamic Analysis: Response of a structure to arbitrarily time-varying loads as well as the nonlinearities mentioned above Random Vibration Analysis: Response of a structure to spectral or PSD input Total Vehicle Frequency Response Analysis Cabin / Interior acoustic analysis Crash / Impact Analysis: Evaluate the crash worthiness and occupant safety of body structure and cabins of automotives. Falling object protective structure analysis of a driver cabin Crash analysis of body structure as per FMVSS and USNCAP DESIGN OPTIMIZATION Size, Shape and Topology optimization of diverse components GENERATION OF FE MESH The basis of analysis lies in the quality and the size of the mesh. This is catered for the various requirements in NVH, Durability, Crash, CFD analyses.
