Christopher Columbus accidently "discovered" North America Specifically,The West Indies. The west indies. New world (North and South America) Columbus thought the natives were so innocent and friendly that they would make excellent slaves. He actually took the first step to slavery. Northern States won. also called Yankee and Uniion Southern calledls rebels USA Southern Whites made sure that Blacks thought they no longer Slaves. Had no rights eithr. Blacks told not go to school. Blacks could not own property. Blacks could not run business. Blacks could not own farms. Blacks had to for Whites for low wages as servants.

Blacks had to live in separate part of town. And later when buses and cinemas came. Blacks had to sit at the back.
