Message From The Executive Editor
Sun is the source of all life forms
on Earth. And hence Sun was
worshiped by almost all ancient
cultures on Earth in one form or
the other.
But from modern scientific
point of view, worshiping Sun was
looked as primitive. Doctors and scientists
educated us not to look at Sun directly, as it might
be harmful to our eyes. And moreover with our
busy lives, we hardly look at the sky and be
thankful to Sun - the giver of Life. Yet the Sun goes
on burning from within - to spread light and send
its energies to support life on Earth - as well as
help in its evolution.
But recently few people from various parts of
the world have proved to mainstream science -
that Sun is much more than what we believed it to
be. Few of them from India and abroad have
also shown how humans can live a healthy life
without any food - surviving only on Sunlight!
Is Sun only an object in space or a very
evolved Spiritual Being? Is Sunlight really harmful
to our eyes or we are mis-guided and Sunlight
can actually heal all our diseases? Can humans
really live entirely on Sunlight without taking any
food for years?

C. Energetic Factors

The Ancients believed that these energies affect
humans in a variety of ways. Their knowledge of
these energies was extensive. Let us examine each of
these factors in turn.
A. Information factors are intelligent packets of
energy that are somewhat analogous to digital bits of
information that are transmitted via sunlight. Ever
wonder where all the information in the world came
from? Where did calculus come from? Where did
the idea of flowers come from? All of it came from
the Sun. To be honest, all of it came from God, but it
came to us more directly from the Corpus of the Sun.
In truth, God is constantly streaming out billions of
gigabytes of data every second of every day. He is
literally pouring out everything that he knows into
our world. But for the most part, we ignore the data.
Scientists are only now learning that light can carry
information. Every day, billions of bits of data are
encoded into computers, televisions, radio, and then
streamed out to us in the form of light. According to
the Ancients, God has been doing this for a much
longer period of time. Information factors may be
downloaded into the brain and used as a source of
knowledge. The Essenes perfected the downloading
of information from the Sun in a process called
Gnostic solar transmission.

Suffice it to say at this time, information factors
provide a plethora of opportunities for self-
advancement and growth. Information factors are
created by God and as such, contain the divine spark of
creation. The eyes are able to absorb these factors and
later pass them on to the brain where they are further
processed.
Information factors may be stored within the cells
of the body for later use. They may also be transmitted
from one person to another.
B. Universal Forces are among the most powerful
energies radiated by the Sun. There are at least five
main universal forces that are transmitted via the Sun
throughout the Solar system. These forces are A-
factor, B-Factor, X-factor, Y-factor, and Z-factor.
Each of these factors play a specific role in our daily
dimensional existence.
A-factor is the prime generative force. It caused the
first propagation of matter to be expelled from the Sun
into the third dimension. Actually, it is the principle
force that God uses to create dimensional reality as we
know it. This force is constantly being emanated from
the Sun. Whenever we grow our hair, mend a bone,
digest our food, the action of A-factor is responsible.
The A-factor is also a secondary cause of the aging
process. It leads to growth and maturation within its
sphere of influence. The overall action of A-factor
allows a person to develop the ego and to embrace the
idea of needing to express himself as a being separate
from God. This force is necessary because without it,
nothing would exist. God would be complete within
himself with no need to create us, reality, or anything
else. With the advent of the A-factor, Primordial
Humans got the chance to create souls and experience
karma. A-factor then creates growth, change, karma,
and the need for self-expression on a personal level.
In the course of fulfilling its activity, A-factor also
contributes to the force of death. A-factor also creates
human thought. It is the primary impelling force that
generates what we call human thinking. Ever try to
stop your thoughts? It is among the hardest of things
that you can do. The force that pushes your thoughts
into your brain is the A-factor. In the truest sense,
your thoughts come from God, but A-factor is how
he expresses thoughts throughout the universe

human plane of thought manifests as A-factor.
Overcoming the urge to express a separate existence
from the Creator is a major step in the process of
Enlightenment.
B-Factor acts on the dormant DNA molecules
within the human genome and
helps to initiate the development of
certain paranormal abilities. B-
factor is a very powerful force. The
force of B-factor is primarily
dormant during the vast majority
of human lifetimes. B-factor is
released primarily around sunset
and is active in releasing two
special sets of genes from within
the body. Science has discovered
that the paranormal powers that we
all possess are controlled by two
sets of genes called Psi Genes. The
Psi A genes turn on the paranormal
potential that we all have. Psi B genes turn off our
paranormal potential.
The interesting thing about Psi B genes is that
they occur in a position which is very close to a set of
genes called the oncogenes. Oncogenes cause
cancer in humans. Oddly enough, increased Psi B
gene activity can lead to greater activation of the
genes that cause cancer.
B-factor turns off the Psi-B gene and turns on the
Psi-A gene. In effect, it supercharges the human
genetic system. The problem with B-factor is that it
is only released for exceedingly brief periods of

time, (a few minutes at most). This release occurs at
sunset and may be seen as a green flash of energy.
B-factor is extremely active in the fifth dimension
and is the primary energy released by the Sun in that
dimension. The action of B-factor in the fifth
dimension allows for the creation of a Higher, More
Evolved version of the Human Light Body. Through
the action of the B-factor, the Light Body becomes one
with God and the individual is no longer able to
reincarnate in physical form. B-factor allows one to
become self-generating. This is the ability to create a
physical form without the need for parents or
traditional incarnation. B-factor may also be stored
within certain precious stones and
activated by the use of mantras.
X-Factor acts on the dormant
DNA molecule to create a permanent
form of the physical body. X-factor
is released primarily at sunrise and
for about one hour. It is also released
during the hour before sunset. Most
of the DNA in the human body is
inactive. As a matter of fact, more
than 97% of the DNA of your body
has no known function. 1-3% of our
DNA is necessary for the encoding
of proteins. Scientists call the
remainder junk DNA. X-factor is an extremely
powerful force that may be stored within the brain,
certain precious stones, and activated by mantra.

The activation of X-factor causes a great change
within the body. As the DNA strands necessary for the
building of the Light Body are gradually decoded, a
great deal of energy is released from the physical
body. The Sun provides an abundant supply of this
energy in the form of Primary Life Force energy. One
of the main functions of X-factor is the activation of
the Primary Life Force centers within the human
body. In most people, the chakras control the flow
of the life force within the body.
As the energy of X-factor increases within the
body, the energy flow within the chakras increases
and the dormant energy of the Life Force Centers is
released.
The Ancients believe that the Light Body is
powered by four main force centers. They are
formed from the combined energy of each of two
chakras. Chakras one and two form the first force
Center. Chakras three and four form the second
force Center. Chakras five and six form the third
force Center. Chakras seven and eight form the
fourth force center. As the human mind evolves and
enlightens, the planes of awareness expand and the
Higher Mind gradually takes up residence within the
physical body. The action of the X-factor makes this
transition possible. As the DNA is transformed and
decoded, the body and mind are transformed as well.
The resultant entity is called the Vajra Body. There
have been tens of thousands of instances of the
successful transition of humans from the physical
body into the Vajra Body or Light Body. This
happens through the use of the X-Factor.
Once a human takes full advantage of the X-
factor and transforms himself, he/she may still
return to physical life through the process of
reincarnation. However this is a choice and not a
necessity. This return is often for a specific purpose
and usually serves to teach some hidden aspect of
spiritual life to humans. If the Initiate takes
advantage of the activity of B-factor after generating
the Light Body, they can become self-generating.
It can however manifest itself on multiple levels
of reality simultaneously.
Y-factor is the primary force of aging and decay
in this dimension. It is carried via the ultraviolet

portion of sunlight during the midday and afternoon
hours. Y-factor is necessary because all things must
follow the natural flow of time and reality.
Enlightened beings that have generated the Light
Body live outside the accepted realms of time and
space.
In order for a god to generate a Light Body form,
they must become human. Gods live for extremely
long periods of time and may even appear to be
immortal. However, after a time, even gods are subject
to the force of Y-factor and eventually die. Y-factor
originates within the fourth dimension and results
from the action of A-factor on that plane.
The action of Y-factor creates the unconscious
mind and thus the process of death. Beings that have
no unconscious mind are not subject to the force of
death. The action of the creation of the unconscious
mind creates a repository for the storage of Y-factor.
This storage process creates a series of chain reactions
that leads to the event of physical death.
The unconscious mind creates breathing as a result
of the action of Y-factor. Y-factor also creates
secondary life force. Beings that live in the higher
Dimensions are not subject to the force of the Y-factor.
They do not breathe, they do not have an unconscious
aspect to their minds, and they do not die. Fourth
dimensional beings do not have a subconscious
component to the mind. As a result, fourth
dimensional beings live much longer life spans than
third dimensional beings.
The action of Y-factor on the third dimension
creates another negative emanation from the Sun, the
Z-factor.
Z-factor is another negative radiation released by
the Sun and it primarily causes cellular and genetic
mutation in living species. Z-factor causes the
creation of the subconscious mind in humans. As
such, this force may be stored within the physical
form. The physical body acts as the storehouse for the
energy released by the subconscious mind. The
cumulative action of Z-factor upon the human body
causes aging and death. The combined forces of Y
and Z factor act as a lethal combination for the
demise of the human body. The Z-factor is
primarily released by the Sun in the form of midday
and late afternoon radiation.
Evolutionary Factor
There are certain energetic components to
sunlight that specifically help to initiate
Consciousness and intelligent thought. The
Ancients teach that this factor is a new creation that
was first released by the Sun less than 250,000 years
ago. Primarily, it allows humans to evolve and move
forward as a species. Evolutionary factor is released
continuously by the Sun. There are specific
techniques and Solar Mudras that will allow humans
to take advantage of this factor.
Energetic Factors
This is the main function of sunlight that humans
about which humans are most knowledgeable. This
aspect of sunlight carries the electromagnetic
spectrum and certain
nourishing energy

capable of sustaining life.
All of the elements that are
necessary for life emanated
originally from the Sun.
Water, air, fire, earth, and
all of the necessary
nutrients for life came to us
from the Sun. Each and
every second, billions of
tons of matter are released
from the Sun and hurled toward the planets. This
matter forms the basis for all life in our Solar
System. The Energetic factors that the Sun releases
are able to sustain life all on their own.
How can the body take in energetic factors in
such a manner as to sustain life? Is it possible that
some of our dormant “junk” DNA may become
active and allow us to utilize Solar Energetic Factors
in the same way that plants do? Let us examine a
possible method.

There is a pathway from the retina, to the
hypothalamus, called the retino-hypothalamic tract.
This brings information about the dark &light cycles
to supra-chiasmatic nucleus (SCN) of the
hypothalamus. From the SCN, impulses along the
nerve travel via the pineal nerve (Sympathetic nervous
system) to the pineal gland. These impulses inhibit the
production of melatonin. When these impulses stop
(at night or in dark, when the light no longer stimulates
the hypothalamus) pineal inhibition ceases, and
melatonin is released. The pineal gland is therefore a
photosensitive organ and an important timekeeper for
the human body.
The unexplored process of energy absorption,
transformation, and processing from the Sun may
occur here. The activation of pineal gland is a key step
in psychic, spiritual and energy transformation
processes. Suffice it to say that in this gland, energy
processing and distribution can take place. The pineal
gland is the subtle controller of all endocrine glands,
therefore controlling the endocrine system. Through
secretion of melatonin, it also regulates the circadian
rhythm, sleep wake cycle and it also slows down aging
process. It has psychic properties and it is said to be
the seat of soul or mind.
Sunlight may enter the eyes
and be directly stored in the
pineal gland. Pineal activation
and charging through solar
energy could be a vital step in
higher evolution. Once
activated and charged by the
Pineal gland, Solar Energetic
factors may be transformed
into electrical, magnetic or
chemical energies in body.
Once processed, this energy
must be transported & must be
stored somewhere. If the initial processing of this
energy starts in the pineal gland, how does it get to the
rest of the body?
The Hypothalamus is the controller of autonomic
nervous system. The pineal gland is connected to it
through a net of autonomic nerves. The new energy
that is derived from the Sun may be transported via
this system of nerves into the hypothalamus.
The role of temporal lobe and limbic system also
may be important. It may work as a regulator, if not
receptor and may be psychically involved in
directing the energy in proper pathways. The
medulla oblongata contains many centers vital to
life and may also store some of this energy. Other
parts of the brain may play as yet undiscovered roles.
Enlightenment Factors
There are specific energy factors released by the
Sun that are designed to awaken and enliven the
human mind. There are specific mudras and mantras
designed to selectively guide these energies into the
human mind. These energies raise the IQ, enhance
creative abilities, enhance musical gifts, enliven the
body, and empower the process of Enlightenment.
The Spiritual Sun
In addition to the plethora of information
regarding the hidden radiations of the Sun, the
Ancients wrote extensively about
the Spiritual Nature of the Sun
itself. They wrote that the Sun
which we see each day is only a
small part of a much larger entity.
This entity is part of a larger
universe that feeds and nourishes
our smaller physical domain. Let us
examine this information.
The Ancients taught that the Sun
is part of a constellation of Solar Entities connected
to the Primordial Sun. The Primordial Sun is the
archetypal blueprint for all the Suns of the physical
universe. The expansion of the physical universe is
caused by the Y factor and occurs in parallel with the
contraction caused by the Z factor. All Suns emanate
from a central Primordial Sun. The Primordial Sun is
extra-dimensional in nature. This Primordial Sun
forms around the Source. The Source is the
collection point for all of God's energy that
empowers and creates this universe. The energy that
collects in this point is massive and forms itself
automatically into a huge Primordial Sun. All souls
enter into this universe first through the Primordial
Sun. The seeds for all our Light Bodies are said to
exist within the Primordial Sun. It is in essence the
physical representation of the Source The
appearance of the Primordial Sun as a Source of
Light is an illusion.

The Primordial Sun emits Primordial Matter. The
action of A-factor on the Primordial Sun impels the
release of Primordial Matter. This is the first state of
matter in our universe. It is this matter that is the
genesis of all the elements in our universe. In the
Higher Dimensions, the worlds are made mostly of
primary matter.
Orbiting the Primordial Sun are the Primordial
Worlds. These are also called the First Worlds and
they are home to The Elders. The Elders are the oldest
created beings in existence. All living beings are
descended from the Elders, even humans.
As the A factor impels the creation of the lower
dimensions, Primordial Matter is pushed into lower
and lower states of being. In dimensions nine through
five, Primordial Matter is not subject to the forces that
create mortal forms. The Primary Forces working on
Primordial Matter at these levels are A-factor, B-
factor, and X-factor.
As Primordial Matter approaches
the fourth dimension, it falls under
the influence of Y-factor. The action
of this factor creates the lower
elements and ultimately physical
matter. The fourth dimension has
little physical matter in comparison to
the third dimension. The third
dimension is more than 95% physical
matter as a result of the combined
actions of the Y and Z factors. There are small amounts
of Primordial Matter in existence in all created worlds
below the fourth dimension.
This Primordial Matter is responsible for the
healing factors, intelligence, spiritual growth, and
enlightenment that is possible on these worlds. From
the Primordial Sun, the energy of Source enters into
Worlds of Creation. These Worlds gradually expand
due to the action of the A-factor. The Primordial Sun
creates Galactic Suns which provide power for each
galaxy in existence. At the core of our Galaxy is a
huge Galactic Sun around which our Sun rotates.
The Galactic Sun is an illusion just as the
Primordial Sun is an illusion. Remember, the
Primordial Sun is a convergence point for all of the
energy of the Creator in this universe. The Galactic

composed of light wave/particles. The light wave
particles oscillate in the same way that the Sun does.
Remember, the Sun oscillates on a regular basis.
Ordinarily, one may not be able to see the
microcosmic pulsation, but the pulsation is clearly
visible to the eye on the macrocosmic level when
you begin using the Solar practices. This pulsation is
exactly the same as that of your heartbeat. The force
for the beat of your heart comes through from the
Primordial Worlds, into the Sun, and finally to Earth.
The energy of your universe is in constant motion
and reveals a distinct pattern of motion, light and
dark. There is also a third vibration, a link between
space and time. This link is called Consciousness.
Though it cannot be seen, Consciousness is the
vehicle through which we can see and know the
universe.
The Sun is home to the Fifth Dimension in our
Solar System. The physical light and matter that we
see emanating from the Sun is in effect the reflection

 Symbolisms of the Sun
The sun has been the
inspiration of mythologies
and symbolism, rituals and
beliefs in all cultures
throughout the ages. In most
cultures the sun stands for
the male energy, light, reason and strength, as
opposed to the moon which is associated with
female qualities, darkness, emotion and giving.
Below I will give you a brief and incomplete
historiography of the various sun symbols in
different cultures followed by some practical
information.

The Solar Symbol
A solar symbol that symbolises the sun has a
significance in astrology, mythology, religion,
mysticism, psychoanalysis and in many other fields as
well. There are many solar symbols. Here are some
examples
The Circle
A simple circle that symbolizes the sun, a circular
disk as in the flag of Japan, the flag of Bangladesh, and
the Australian aboriginal flag.

 The Circle with a dot in the centre
This is the astronomical and astrological symbol
for the sun. It is also the ancient Egyptian sign for the
sun or Ra in the hieroglyphic writing system.
The Sun Cross
The sun cross or solar wheel, a cross inside a
circle, is one of the oldest and most universal
religious symbols and a popular neopagan solar
symbol. It represents the four seasons and the
tropical year. In prehistoric use this symbol
represented the union of opposed polarities in the
western world. This symbol was discovered in
diverse areas of the world, scratched into stone or
painted on pottery, for example in Pyrenees in old
Europe, in Scotland, Anatolia, Mesopotamia, and in
the Iranian Plateau. It may be compared to the yin-
yang symbol of the Eastern world.
The Swastika
The swastika is another solar symbol. It is used
among Hindus, Jains and Buddhists. This symbol
was also used by the Nazis in Germany who had a
warped idea of its meaning. This symbol implies that
the central point is not limited to one individual,
however perfect. That the Principle 'God' is in
humanity and humanity, as all the rest, is in it, like
drops of water are in the ocean, the four ends being
toward the four cardinal points, hence losing
themselves in infinity.
The Eight pointed Star
This symbol also has a solar meaning and has
appeared on the flag of several Russian subdivisions
and also between 1959-1963 on the flag of Iraq.

The doubled Sun Cross
This symbol is the double cross in a circle,
representing, Jesus the Savior and Redeemer.
Triskelion
Some forms of the triple spiral or triskelion signs
are considered to be solar symbols. The triskelion on
the flag of Ingushetia is given this meaning.
Rosette
This is a Slavic solar symbol, the flower of life
symbol.
Sun Circle
This is a very ancient Pagan sun wheel. A Slavic
solar symbol.
Shamas
This symbol was used in the Euphrates and Tigris
region, Mesopotamia, around 1000 B.C. to represent
the sun god Shamas, the greatest power, the highest
divinity. It is often depicted as rising out of the sign of
Aries, the ram, representing the spring equinox. The
wavy lines are signs of the sun's radiation. This
symbol is often found in close physical proximity to
the ideograms, for the moon god Sin, and for Ishtar, as
well as with the staff of the Babylonian sun god
Shamas.
Rayed Depictons
A circular disk with alternating triangular and
wavy rays emanating from it is a frquent symbol of
the sun. In the ancient Mesopotamian symbol of the
sun-God Shamas there are four wav rays that
emanate from the circle.
Solar Deity
A solar deity is a god or goddess who represents
the sun or an aspect of it. People have worshipped a
god or goddess who represents the sun, for all of
recorded history.
The Sun Chariot of Trundholm
The Trundholm sun chariot pulled by a horse is
believed to be a sculpture illustrating an important
part of Nordic Bronze Age mythology. Its also called
Solvognen in Danish. It is a bronze statue of a horse
and large bronze disk, which are placed on a device
with spoked wheels. The horse stands on a bronze
rod supported by four wheels. All of the wheels have
four spokes. Although the horse is supported by
wheels also,

consists
solely of the
disk, the
axle, and the wheels. The disk is interpreted as a
depiction of the sun. The disk which has a diameter
of about 25 cm is gilded on one side only, the right
hand side. This has been interpreted as an indication
of a belief that the sub is drawn across the heavens
from East to West during the day, presenting the day
time, and returns from west to East during the night.
According to Professor or Archeoogy at the
Unniversity of Copenhagen, Klaus Randsborg, the
disk might have been designed by a person with
some knowledge of astronomy and that the sculpture
may have functioned as a calendar. The sculpture
has been dated to 14th to 15th centuries B.C.

The Winged Sun
The winged sun was an ancient symbol of Horus,
later identified with Ra. Egypt about 3rd millennium BC.
Male and Female Sun Dieties
A solar deity (also heliolatry or sun worship), is a god
or goddess who represents the sun, or an aspect of it.
Although solar dieties are generally male enemies
of the lunar female diety Sun goddesses are more
popular and are found on every continent. The dualism
of sun/male/light and moon/female/darkness is found
in many but not all european traditions.
In different religions solarised supreme dieties
carry different names and are associated with different
aspects of the cultural universe of the society. The
Neolithic concept of a solar barge, the sun as taversing
the sky in a boat, is found in ancient egypt, with Ra and
Horus. The Roman Empire celebrated a festival of the
birth of Unconquered Sun, when the duration of
daylight first begins to increase after the winter soltice,
the rebirth of the sun. In German mythology this is Sol,
in Vedic Surya, and in Greej Helios or Apollo.
Mesopotamian Shamas plays an important role during
the Bronze Age. South American cultures have
emphatic sun worship. The Slavic god Svarog is the
spirit of fire.
Sun worship was exceptionally prevalent in ancient
Egyptian religion. The "solarisation" of several gods
(Hnum-Re, Min-Re, Amon-Re) reaches its peak in the
period of the fifth dynasty. In the eighteenth dynasty,
Akhenaten, changed the polytheistic religion of Egypt
to a pseudo-monotheistic Atenism. The reigning sun
god Amun and all other gods were replaced by the
Aten. His only image was a disk, a symbol of the sun.
In Chinese mythology, there were ten suns in the
sky and the world was so hot that nothing grew. A hero
called Hou Yi shot down nine of the suns with his
bow and arrows. The world became better ever
since. In another myth, the solar eclipse was caused
by the dog of heaven biting off a piece of the sun.
There was a tradition in China to hit pots and pans
during a solar eclipse to drive away the dog.
In the Vedas, numerous hymns are dedicated to
Surya Deva, the sun personified and Savitar the
impeller, a solar deity associated with Surya. The
Gayatri mantra, which is one of the most sacred of
the Hindu hymns is dedictaed to the sun. The
Mahabharata describes its warrior hero Karna as the
son of Kunti and the sun. The Ramayana has its
protagonist Rama as being from the Raghu
Vamsham or the clan of kings as bright of the sun.
In African many peoples use the local word for
sun as the name for their supreme being. The Munsch
tribe considers the sun to be the son of the supreme
being Awondo and the moon is Awondo's daughter.
The Barotse tribe believes that the sun is inhabited by
the sky god Nyambi and the moon is his wife.
The solar gods have a stronger presence in
Indonesia's religious life and mythology. In some cases
the sun is revered as a father or founder of the tribe.
This may apply for the whole tribe or only for the royal
and ruling families. In Australia and on the island of
Timor, the tribal leaders are seen as direct heirs to the
sun god. The sun is also seen as a mediator between the
planes of the living and the dead.
There are many archaic Sun cults which
incorporate themselves into newer religions in the
folklore traditions. In Japan for example there is a
custom that young people representing the Sun's
ancestors, the dead, paint their faces red and visit
village homes, to guarantee the land's fertility.
Another important myth complex is that of the Sun
Hero, which is typical of the nomad herders. These
heroes are found among the African nomad tribes, the
tribes from Central Asia, Gesen Khan, the Samson

Jews, and also among all Indo-European peoples. The
Sun Hero often saves the world renews the world,
opens a new epoch, and generally brings about some
major renewal to the established cosmical order.
The Sun of May in Spanish, sol de Mayo, is one of
the national emblems of Argentina and Uruguay, and
it is featured on the countries' flags. It is a
representation of the Inca sun god Inti. The sun, is a
replica of an engraving on the Argentinian coin,
approved in 1813, its value was one Spanish dollar,
eight escudos. It has 16 straight and 16 waves
sunbeams. It is referred as the sol de Mayo, because of
the may Revolution which took place in May 1810
and marked the beginning of independence from
Spain.
Practical Info
Are you aware that the sun rays are equivalent to
gold rays and therefore, like gold, extremely
beneficial to your health? Although it is dangerous in
some areas of the world to sun bathe, it is very healthy
to enjoy bright sunshine in little dosis, especially early
mornings. It is healthy for the spleen, as the spleen, an
important spiritual organ, tanks in energy from the
sun. It is very beneficial for you to stand facing the sun
and consciously breathe in deeply, while going
through a positive mantra in your head. For example,
you breathe in and think 'I am now breathing in
sunshine healing every cell of my body.' As you
breathe out slowly you think 'I am breathing out all
negativity and illness out of every cell of my body.' Do
this a few times, slowly and see how wonderful you
will feel. Sunshine not only heals, but it purifies as
well. It is very beneficial for people who are depressed
who usually like to shun sunlight. For the spleen sit or
stand with your back to the sun and let it shine full
blast on your back to do is work. Remember to keep
your thoughts positive.

lies our very existence. Its light represents our
consciousness, and its radiation our reaching out to
others.
Scientists, ancient and modern, are striving hard
to understand the solar flares, for the recorded
strength of these energetic eruptions humbles even
the most intelligent mind. Many know of the power
of the Moon to affect the mind and psyche of a
human being, but few appreciate the even stronger
psychological effect of the Sun. Are you aware that
the quickest way of bringing on depression (called
SAD!!) is to deny a person the light of the Sun for a
consistently long time? Even when depression is not
related to the absence of the Sun, it can be relieved to
quite a significant extent by the therapeutic
properties of a gentle basking in the Sun for about an
hour each day (to be done in the earlier hours of the
morning).
The best way to do this is to lie down on cool
green grass, or on cool soft sand, and allow the
gentle light of the Sun to irradiate you, and remove
the negative energies collected as debris in your
energy matrix. Close your eyes and for a few
moments at a time focus on any one part of the
emotional, mental or physical, that causes you pain
and discomfort. Focusing on this is like bringing it
up to the light of the Sun, and allowing the light to
clear the resistance and pain of the experience.
All the while breathe very deeply and very
slowly. Visualize the rays entering every dark corner
and crevice of your emotional, mental and physical
bodies and flooding it with enlightenment and
illumination.

Breathe the sunlight into your pineal, pituitary,
adrenal and thymus glands. Allow it to flood your
entire musculature….all your bones and joints.
Remember the joints hold on to a lot of toxins which
cause arthritis, rheumatism and the like. Visualize the
light streaming and flowing with your blood as it
courses strongly through your veins and arteries. Let it
enter and irradiate your spinal cord, and all the organs
of your body.
The light of the Sun holds within its warm
embrace, all the vitamins we need and is the strongest
'energy pill' that you can take each morning.
When your physical body has been rejuvenated,
turn your attention to the sacred fire of Christ
Consciousness that burns within you and allow the
light of the Sun to enrich and energize it.
End the spiritual basking session with the loud
intonation of the Gayatri Mantra. Allow the energies
of the mantra to swirl within your root chakra and the
Solar plexus Chakra.
At least three times a week follow a gentle routine
of stretching and bending in the very gentle light of the
Sun, either in the morning or evening.
Sunset is an excellent time to unwind and to release
all the pressures of the day. Allow your eyes to gently
focus upon the setting sun and pay close attention to
your outbreath. Breathe out all the tensions and
stresses of the day and visualize them ebbing with the
Sun, disappearing out of the horizon of your reality.
The Gayatri Mantra was first recorded in the Rig
Veda over 3000 years ago and has only grown in
strength through all the years of collective chanting. It
has the ability to illuminate, to protect, to destroy
threat and harm, to clarify, to enrich and to empower.
If you are not one to chant hymns and to pray for long
hours in a day, then the chanting of the short Gayatri
Mantra is all you need. Gayatri represents the
abundance of the physical world, the richness of the
spiritual world and the wisdom of the Cosmic Core
of Eternal Consciousness.
The energies of the Sun makes us vibrant, makes
us shine, leads us to laughter, makes us cheerful, and
brings the feeling of inner warmth. When someone
is in need, when a child is crying and you hold that
child to your heart and give him 'emotional warmth',
what you are doing is radiating the Sun within you.
You are becoming the Sun for this child, whose
world might be in darkness. When you give a gift to
someone, who least expects it, and you see their eyes
light up with joy, what you have done is emanated
the rays of the Sun. When you show someone the
way when they are lost, when you show someone
direction, again you are this same beacon of light.
Let each sunrise remind you of the Light Within
that cannot be contained but must be radiated
outwards, and allow each sunset to remind you of the
need to turn your eye inwards, to hold yourself in
warmth and acceptance, to nurture your core, so that
the spark of self-love flames into a compelling fire
of universal love.

Shine your
Radiant Light

Your heart is the most
powerful thing you possess.
When you share your heart with
others, it illuminates the entire
world. This radiant light is
inherent to who you are as a
human and spiritual being.
You can look up and see the sun shining in the
day sky. The sun shares its warm light with the you
and the entire earth. It allows life giving plants to
grow and flourish. Without that light the world
would be a barren, desolate place.
Your inner spiritual essence is much like the life-
giving sun. If you are not careful you may take that
life energy for granted. Next time you walk outside,
allow yourself to stop for a moment, close your eyes
and turn your face to the sun. Feel its warmth on your
face. Imagine this light energy radiating to every part
of your body.
Believe that you radiate in a similar fashion. Your
light permeates everything you do. Your radiance is
the most important thing you can share with the
world. Your spiritual energy radiates your heart
essence to everyone around you much like the sun
does the earth. This light shares love with everyone
regardless of who they are. Sharing your energy is
inherent to who you really are and is done effortlessly
without even trying.
You have a much greater capability of shining
your light than you may realize. Do not be afraid to

engage life with vigorous joy and radiance. Joy and
happiness spread sunshine to everyone around you.
Think of those you love and how you might make
yours and their day special.
You have such an important role to play in the
world you live in. Your light can change the world
around you without even trying. The more you enjoy
and experience life to the fullest, the more light you
have to shine.
Your thoughts and intentions are very important
as well. Being conscious of your intentions can
generate a much greater light than you normally do
each day by being who you are. Being positive about
life and allowing that to shape your actions can
quickly spread to everything you do.
Your radiance expands exponentially with
increased positive intention. If you think it, you can
do it. Likewise if you have cloudy, dark thoughts
these will permeate your light and damper it.
Sit quietly sometime and visualize a profound
light emanating from your heart center. Imagine that
light spreading completely through your body.
Envision it spreading through your house. Then see
it spreading outward in all directions filling your
neighborhood and beyond. Get in touch with your
spiritual radiance and understand that the light
comes from deep within you.
Think about what simple things you can do to
change the world. When you commit yourself to
altruistic actions you can affect positive change in
such a powerful way. Do not doubt that you can.
Direct your intention to those things which make
your world a better place.
You have tremendous ability to share your
radiance with others through the positive choices
you make. Your thoughtful choices each day dictate
how much or how little you are able to radiate your
light to others. You can choose unconditional love or
you can place many conditions on it. Fear can make

You will have times when you experience fear.
What do you fear? Fear restricts you from making
choices that are in your highest good of yourself and
others. Fear can keep you immobilized. When you
experience fear, your light is hidden.
When you have times of great happiness and joy,
you get in touch with who you are. Take care of
yourself. Do whatever will make you the most happy.
You can simply lose yourself when not being true to
who you are. Happiness from deep within you allows
your radiance to shine forth.
Have you ever been with someone who simply
elevates the entire room when they enter it? With your
thoughtful choices you can be that type of person.
Everyone loves to be in the presence of such a person.
A person is truly beautiful when they are overflowing
with their full radiance and light. You can be such a
person each and everyday.
Some ways of sharing your radiance with
yourself:
Be light hearted with life
Just because things do not go your way does not
mean the experience was a loss.
Take a walk in the sunshine
Take time to enjoy your life. It is precious and
should not be squandered with things you “should do”
or “have to” do.
Give a gift to yourself whenever possible
You can only be good to others when you can be
good to yourself.
Some ways of sharing your radiance with others:
Share a smile with a stranger
A simple smile can do wonders for a person’s day.
It is the simple things that sometimes matter most.
 Write someone a note expressing love
How often do you take a small bit of time to let
others really know you care?
Use laughter as the best medicine
When you can laugh with others you can make
the world brighter.
Share a part of yourself with someone
Life can be so busy that you may forget to speak
your truth and share yourself in all areas of your life.
There are so many opportunities each day to
share your radiance. Choose to be like the sun and
shine light into the world. You can make a difference
so choose to be radiant, joyful and be aware of who
you really are!

 THE SOUL OF
THE RISING SUN
The Villagers were pure.
Not only the human beings of
the Village, but all the living
beings there, were the
incarnations of Innocence. But Sorrow and Poverty
could never think of leaving that Village. Of course,
the Villagers did try hard to exile both of them far
beyond the frontiers, but failed miserably in that
attempt.
Even while dragging their dreary lives, there was

something that filled the Villagers with happiness. The
Rising Sun! Every infant, every boy and girl, every
young man and woman, every old man and woman
dreamed of the sun rising at the Dawn, escorted by a
fresh and caressing breeze. The dreams of the Rising
Sun swept the sands, air, birds, trees and everything
into an ecstasy.
It is doubtful whether the Village had ever heard of
the Rising Sun during its early history. They had their
first ideas about the Rising Sun from the poets and

singers who came to the village from somewhere.
Their poems that pictured the spectacular scenes of
the Dawn, sent vibrations through the Soul of the
Village. The singers sang of the shining orb of Light
that majestically arrives from the multicoloured sky
at the Eastern Horizon in a magnificent chariot
driven by hundreds of thousands of golden horses.
Those fantastic songs rained like honey in the
eardrums of the Villagers. For them, who knew only
the fierce noon sun who burned their souls with red-
hot rays, this was entirely a novel experience.
But they, who waited for the stirring sights of the
Dawn that could make a million flowers blossom in
their minds, did not succeed. You might think that it
was the geographical position of the Village that
prevented them from seeing Sunrise. No! Not at all!
It is doubtful whether there is any other place in this
wide world, which is more suitable than the Village
for watching Sunrise. So was it because the Villagers
failed to get up early? That too is not true. Not a
single day, when the Village failed to awaken from
sleep before the Pole Star appeared, has been
recorded in history. Then why did they fail to see
Sunrise?
Dark Clouds! No! Not those who come to give at
least a drop of water to quench the thirst of the Earth.
These were clouds that covered the sky like a pitch-
black curtain, spreading a sickening darkness in the
atmosphere. The Clouds were usually accompanied
by blinding lightning and ear-shattering thunder.
Everyday, near the moment of Sunrise, the Villagers
will go to the shores of the Big Blue Ocean, who had
the special ability to play any kind of role, like being
calm or extremely angry. But what they saw was not
the Rising Sun. Instead they saw endless columns of
Clouds reminding them of black Ghosts. The troops
of Clouds took special care not to allow even a slight
ray of the Sun to sneak out of the wall they had built
up.

thunder to the depressed Villagers. “You Villagers! Go
and do your jobs without wasting precious time. You
know the poets and singers. They are frauds. The
Rising Sun is not so beautiful as they'd like to have you
believe. We've seen this Sun. You people will all
become blind if you happen to see the light of that Sun.
The rays of the Rising Sun are coloured. They will
induce hallucinations and drive you mad. We are
staying here to save you from this grave danger. You
understand one thing. We are your saviours, your
security guards. Without us, this Village has no
existence.”
The Clouds will stay there till noon. And they
allow the noon sun to pour its heart out with rays that
could vapourise the life-blood. But who can love the
noon sun? It is not possible. How could the Villagers
love the noon sun who burns their crops and turns their
wells into waterless pits of scorching sand?
The Leader of the Clouds offered a concession.
“See the setting sun if you want.” But the Villagers
who hated that very word 'sunset' declined.
Months and years kept flying away without
waiting to rest. No change was there in the condition
of the Village. But during these years the Villagers
grasped fully, the truth that the dark Clouds were not
their saviours because they were witnessing the
number of people who died due to thunder and
lightning, shooting up year by year. So many lives
were also lost to the horrible heat of the noon sun.
Though the Villagers requested several times that they
be allowed to see the Rising Sun at least once, the Dark
Clouds didn't even take it at face value.
In these hopeless circumstances, some of the Youth
of the Village had a brainwave. After getting the
permission of the Elders, they met the Birds of the
Village. “Dear Birds, we know you love this Village.
We want you to do us a favour. Please fly to the Eastern
Horizon at the time of Sunrise and return after having
a glimpse of at least a single ray of the Sun of our

throughout the Village. The sweet speech of the
Rising Sun!
Power! On seeing this surprising Transformation,
Electricity flooded through the veins of even the
Universe!

Malayalam short story titled 'Udayasooryante Atmavu'
published in the October 21, 1990 issue of the Malayalam
Weekly Kunkumam).

blessed moment, I must tell you. This rendezvous is
only temporary. I can't defeat the Dark Clouds
everyday. Today, because of the support of a strong
Wind, I could destroy the Dark Clouds. But the
Clouds are powerful. They'll return with
reinforcements. If you want to witness the Sunrise
everyday throughout the year, you should also do
your part. None of you is weak. Live volcanoes are
there inside your souls! Try to recognise your own
power. Look there at the shore of the Blue Ocean!
With wide-open eyes, the Villagers looked. A
shining globe of Light was there at the Ocean shore!
“Fear not my friends! It is my Soul! The Soul of
the Rising Sun! My energy is embedded in it. It is the
essence of my Power and Glory. Go! Share it among
yourselves! It is made of millions and millions of
small suns. They'll empower you to wipe out the
arrogant Black Clouds from this Village. These
Small Suns will start explosions in the volcanoes. In
the red hot flood of Lava, the Black Clouds and
Vultures will burn to death. You too have now
become Small Suns! With determination and peace
of mind, you can return to the Village. Prepare
yourself for the fight to pave my path, to begin life
everyday with the vision of the Rising Sun! The Age
when this Village will bathe in the beauty of the
Dawn, day by day, is not far in the future!”
In the souls of the Villagers, the Soul of the
Rising Sun sparkled. They too became suns, turned
into Infinite indescribable waves of throbbing

 God is Creative Cause

creates and sustains the world
God … but ultimately you are
the proof that God exists, not

Many people believe that God is outside of them
(often referred to as “the big guy in the sky”) to be
called upon to solve their problems whatever they
may be. They do not recognize God's indwelling
presence within them and the facility it provides for
them to transcend life's challenges, and, hence,

God is Creative Energy that is the source of all
visible reality: human beings, animals, trees, plants,
etc. And the Bible teaches that God is Spirit. As Plato
put it, “There could be no body, no visible reality,
unless there is first Spirit as creative cause.”
There's only one God in the Universe, one source
of all the different forms of life as we know them. And,
as creative energy, God is the cause of everything in
the Universe as well as the power that sustains them.
God is Wisdom and Intelligence. All the wisdom and
intelligence that exist in the Universe represent God.
Humanity is the most complete expression of
God. “In his own image, in the image of God created
he him; male and female created he them.”
You were created by God because He wants to
express Himself through you. He's Omnipresent;
therefore, He must be in you. Hence, He's a part of
your being. He's all in all, so you must be in Him.
He's Spirit and you were made in His image and
likeness; hence, you are spirit.
The reality underlying everything is God. Every
thing is one and the same Spirit manifesting in
different ways. The various forms of life are one life.
All the wisdom in the world is God manifesting in
different ways. He is in every human being as
infinite wisdom waiting to be brought forth into
physical manifestation.
God, the source of our existence, is not only
Omnipresent, He's Omnipresence. He is both
Omnipotent and Omnipotence. God is not merely
Omniscient, He's Omniscience. Everything that you
can think of in its absolute perfect form is God.
You are a three-part being consisting of Spirit,
body and soul. Both the Spirit and the body are
clothed in the soul. The Spirit is your innermost
being, the absolute part of you. It never changes
though your circumstances and thoughts are
changeable. It is the Christ in you, the God in
visibility.
The substance of God is the unchanging
principle at the core of your existence. It is the divine
or real self that is spiritual and perfect and which
cannot be seen on the physical plane.
Your body is your visible mortal part. It has a
brain. Your body's brain has a mind, your rational
mind. And your Spirit has a mind as wellthe real
mind. The former is changeable because it gathers
information through the five senses: sight (visual),

hearing (auditory), touch (tactile), smell (olfactory)
and taste (gustatory). The unchanging mind of the
Spirit represents life. It is the Divine Mind and it
represents your consciousness.
Our own individual minds are connected to God's.
Therefore, there is only one mind and that is God'sthe
Universal Mind.
God did not only create us He is the fountain of life
that abides in us. He is the ever present Intelligence
that fills our minds. God is our inexhaustible supply of
spiritual and material blessings; He's both the Giver
and the Gift.
In trusting in God as your all He will see to it that
everything that you desire comes to you. This Truth is
in accord with the Bible's teachings, “What things so
ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive
them, and ye shall have them.”
God resides in you. Therefore, your own
indwelling spirit provides all the wisdom, courage,
peace, joy, health, and strength that you desire.
We were created in the image and likeness of God.
Therefore, we have things in common with Him. In
the case of our spirit, it differs from His only by degree
because a part must be the same in kind and quality as
the whole.
Consider this analogy. One drop of water from the
ocean is the same as the ocean water as a whole in
terms of its molecular structure, physical, and
chemical properties. The difference lies only in the
quantity.
Similarly, as individual manifestations of God,
each one of us contains the whole which is God.
However, like the drop of water, we don't consider
each individual to be God in the entirety but as God
taking form in some degree. Therefore, like God, we
have the power to bring into visible form that which
we conceive of in our thoughts.
 Until you become aware that God is not to be
found afar off but that He dwells in you, the Christ is
“asleep in you.” When you have “awakened” the
Christ within you, a great calm will come over you.
You will come to understand that the God in you will
help you to overcome any difficulty that you may
encounter and will bring peace and harmony to the
situation.
However, to achieve this end, you must focus on
the Christ in you and not that within anyone else. By
doing so, you're working with God to raise your
level of consciousness above the obstacles in your
path so that you can become, do, and have whatever
you want in this world.

 Spiritual Tolerance
Tolerance is an excellent
spiritual value, especially in our
complex, diverse global
village. The utopian ideal is
the capacity to tolerate
anything and everything,
which would theoretically include the absurd
willingness to tolerate daily torture. Obviously, the
utopian ideal is a grand delusion that might have
some hypothetical applicability in a theoretically
perfect universe inhabited by supposedly perfect
pious souls. We though are imperfect beings living
in an imperfect world where we cannot afford to
encourage psychopaths, so we really should not and
must not tolerate torture.

Besides such obviously intolerable activities,
tolerance is still an important and valuable virtue
simply because our world is diverse and complex.
More important, human nature is incredibly diverse
and complex, such that we will do things of which
others disapprove and others will do things of which
we disapprove. For example, some people may
believe that we should dance naked in the local park
while others may believe we should wear heavy
woolen garments while strolling through the park.
With the potential for endless contradictory desires,
customs, beliefs, and ambitions, tolerance becomes an
important virtue though we need some practical
limitations.

 Essentially, if something does not cause physical
or psychological injury, tolerance is prudent, but if
something causes physical or psychological harm,
then tolerance is imprudent. Regarding torture, the
primary objective is to induce serious physical and
psychological damage, even permanent harm, so
tolerance is foolhardy. Dancing naked in the park
does not cause physical or psychological harm so
showing a little tolerance toward exuberant
naturalists does no harm. Wearing heavy woolen
garments especially on hot summer days may result
in overheating so imposing this on active people is
inadvisable.
Naturally, some people will argue that dancing
naked in the local park violates public decency while
others will argue that nudity is perfectly natural.
Either way, arguments regarding nudity are beliefs
that cannot cause serious physical or psychological
harm to anybody unless somebody believes they can
use violence to impose their beliefs on others.
Whatever we choose to believe concerning nudity,
we can attach the conviction that we should show a
little tolerance toward those with different
convictions, which introduces a new challenge. That
challenge is how we can coexist when we have
different beliefs, which is possible if we grant each
other time and space to exist while patiently
awaiting our turn.
Tolerance is an important virtue especially in our
metropolitan cities where millions of people
conduct their business without much overt concern
for another's business. Some people want to fly kites
in the local park while others want to sunbathe; some
people to throw frisbees, some want a quiet picnic,
and others want to toss a ball; some want to create a
community park, some want to build a shopping
plaza, some want an apartment building, and others
want an office complex. Due to the diverse
neighborhoods, organizations, institutions,
enterprises, and interests, tolerance is an invaluable

virtue inside our modern cosmopolitan cities. Without
tolerance, different groups will clash and the rising
tensions may lead to riots during which zealous
characters may injure people or damage property.
With tolerant citizens, our cities run smoothly,
primarily because people allow their neighbors to go
about their business without unnecessary
interference.
Spiritually, we should tolerate the idiosyncracies
of our neighbors, friends, and family members unless
their conduct is threatening to cause serious physical
or psychological harm. For a greater spiritual
challenge, we can show a little tolerance toward those
with different convictions and customs, perhaps
attending their events and activities periodically. In
other words, Christians should consider worshiping
with Buddhists periodically and vice versa, Taoists
should consider worshiping with Mormons
occasionally and vice versa, etcetera. Alternatively,
Muslims can welcome Hindus into their
neighborhood, Hindus can welcome Jews into their
neighborhoods, Jews can welcome Confucians into
their neighborhoods, Confucians can welcome
Catholics into their neighborhoods, etcetera.
Tolerance makes life a little easier, and preserves
our energy for serious problems rather than expending
valuable energy over matters that cause no physical or
psychological harm. More important though,
tolerance is a necessary virtue because history proves
one inescapable fact of human nature, namely that
somebody somewhere will do something we consider
bizarre.
