EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE:
Eyes: May cause irritation
Inhalation: May cause irritation of mucous membranes.
Prolonged exposure to do excessive mist may
cause coughing, choking, or breathing difficulty.
Liquid aspirated into lungs may cause chemical
pneumonia.
Ingestion: May cause irritation of mucous membranes.
Liquid aspirated into lungs may cause chemical
pneumonia.
Skin Absorption: May cause irritation and dermatitis.

FIRST AID PROCEDURES:


Eyes: Flush immediately with water for at least 15
minutes.
Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention.
Skin Absorption: May cause irritation and dermatitis.

Respiratory Protection: Not required
Ventilation: Normal for chemicals of this nature.
Inhalation: Permissible exposure limit for oil mist is 5
mg/m3. Use NIOSH approved respiratory
protection in areas of excessive mist. Use local
and mechanical exhaust as necessary to control
mist.
Eye Protection: Chemical goggles or full-face shield
Protective Gloves: Chemical resistant rubber gloves.
Other Protection: Eye wash and safety shower in the work area.
Work/Hygienic Practices avoid contact with
eyes, skin and clothing. Wash thoroughly after
handling.
