ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Annual JMSM Sports Business Conference has run for 17 years and counting. For our 18th year, we are inviting you to join forces with the largest student-run conference in Canada. This event allows you to share your experiences with 300 students who are among the brightest in the nation. We can guarantee that you will benefit from interacting with these students, as well as meeting the other guest speakers who are distinguished professionals in their respective fields. This three-day event features four panels comprised of a moderator and four guest speakers. This year, the panel themes are: Growth of the Sports Business, Living on the Wild Side, Under the Microscope and Fandomonium. The conference will also provide two keynote speakers at our night events. The Living on the Wild Side panel will discuss the growth and evolution of extreme sports and its impact on sports today. The Growth of the Sports Industry panel will analyze how this industry has risen to become such a powerful market. The Under the Microscope panel will point out the trials and tribulations sports executives face on a day to day basis. The Fandomonium panel will highlight the importance of creating the ultimate in game fan experience.
